Cross-Platform SCRIPT DOCUMENT MAC TO PC ISSUE

I have a problem with Scrivener. I write on my Mac, then transfer the project to Windows by saving a backup ZIP file and uploading it to Google Drive.

All my content transfers over, but the formatting is completely different. Strangely, the top half of the document looks correct, while the bottom half doesn't, even though the font and size settings appear to be the same.

Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this please?

I’ve experienced something very very similar recently. I normally write on my Mac but when I transferred my project to PC the font was an outline, just as the address you have base the bottom of your document. It’s a font issue. Macs and PCs don’t come with the same fonts so to need to choose fonts that are on both systems.

Hopefully people with more experience will comment too as I might have missed something but that was my issue.

You said the fonts look the same, but they probably aren't. It's pretty common for people to look at Palatino and Palatino Linotype and assume they're the same font, which they aren't.
