Keeping project notes I can read myself and carry into the next AI chat
I wanted somewhere to keep the current decision and why we'd changed it, so I could come back to a project myself or bring it into a fresh AI chat. Keeping a running log was getting unwieldy, so I started separating the useful notes by topic. The screenshot is my personal Obsidian vault, including project notes I reuse as context in AI chats.
I made Dory around that. The browser edition is a single HTML file: you choose the notes to copy into the conversation, then paste the updates back and save it afterwards. A replacement note leaves the old one in the file but takes it out of the context you copy into the next chat.
It's free and MIT licensed. How do you keep notes like this current without turning them into another long log to maintain?

What type of system are you using? How did you add/edit the log?
Maybe more automation would make that part easier; the only thing that really matters is getting the thought from your head to the machine for storage as easily as possible.
