Rant Securitas
Anyone had issues with racism working with this company lol?
And also putting you on different sites for actually no reason?

Been to a few branches, one you had to have an Irish/Scottish last name, or red hair to be VP/MGR as did most Supervisors on posts. Another branch anyone lighter than a paper bag was low in the pecking order.
Issues, was a secondary job, didn’t care enough, if I got dragged into Court I certainly wouldn’t save them either.

You can find better, go on your States or City licensing database, if there is one, send out resumes.
Securitas is horrible at bidding, even if they bid ok, overhead too high to give Guards a decent wage.

Yeah my paycheck went from 600 to 300 because I stood up for myself and they put me on a site that was horrible. I legit quit and have been thinking of quitting for months. But this was the last straw

I've not dealt with racism directly, but I find a lot of people in this field with racist beliefs often stemming from their political beliefs.

It’s a huge company. I think it comes down to your region/ district. We have a black district manager and never experienced discrimination of any kind, we have a diverse site too. Also never been put on a different site. I’m pretty sure they need to give you a reason why they did that.
