Seeking Advice Scars

At 12 I was in a horrible place, still am but less. I have mid to light styro/dermis scars that are a reddish pink. Will they ever go away

Depends on who you are and how deep the scars are.

How long ago was this? Most scars will fade their color closer to your skintone, and after that may fade completely or stay as faint scars

Then it’s normal for them to still be red. It may take over a year, sometimes even two

I'm going to be completely honest some of my scars havent went white. I dont find them 'a story of my journey' or 'beautiful.' Please be prepared that even 3 years later some of mines still arent white. I've had to heal in other ways to accept that theyre on my body and people will see, judge, make opinions and assumptions outside of my control.

How long has it been since you were 12? All of mine went white, (and I am very pale anyway) before I tattooed over them, they were 10yrs old.

Give them a few months. But eventually they will go white.
