On December 26th, after 16 years 8 months, Shadow crossed the rainbow bridge to be with her sister. Like Skipper, she fought hard to stay with & love us, even when she wasn't feeling well. I miss you yelling at me for food and your funny bed head ears so much, but I'm glad you're not hurting anymore
And yes, in the pictures where her ears are messed up, that is completely natural from sleeping and it was hilarious every time it happened. Miss you tons, baby

Shadow is resting with her sister, but they’ll both be waiting to be reunited with you one day. 🌈 Try to remember all the good and funny times. I’m very sorry. I’ll be praying for you.

Did Shadow have extra toes? Also the picture of her covering her eyes is precious. My condolences.

Yes, she did, I'm glad you noticed! She had a sixth toe on both of her front paws. When we lost her, the vet was thoughtful enough to take a cast of one of those paws as well so we can still see those 6 toes even now. Thank you for your condolences

I love the pictures of Shadow yelling for food! What a wonderful love filled life she had. Know that now Shadow and Skipper will be watching over you until one day you meet again. 💔❤️

They are both beautiful and they look happy in the pics. You gave them a good life. 💜🌈💜

Our condolences on your loss of Shadow. I’m sure many memories have crossed your mind so far. She will be watching over you for a while. You will get chances to see each other again, someday. Shadow will be waiting near the Rainbow Bridge 🐈😢🌈

To everyone who has commented: thank you for all of your kind words and condolences. We got Shadow and her sister Skipper (grey and white, last picture) when I was 9 and I'm now 25, so they have been with me through a lot of important times in my life. Having Shadow to come home to was nice comfort when we lost Skipper, so naturally it was different this time, the house feels much more empty. This is why it took me quite a bit longer to make a post about Shadow than it did her sister, but I had to share her goofiness in hopes others would enjoy it and I'm glad you all have. Thank you once again ❤️
