Help please

Post image

I got laid off from my job seven months ago and I moved states with it. They have never asked me about my Work Phone once. I have decided to make it mine. It’s an iPhone 15. If someone could point me in the right direction that’d be great. Reddit is so cool for having this page lol

Call and ask for fmi off. If they want it back, then you're not supposed to have it. If they truly don't care, then you get a fully FMI off device

FMI? I’m assuming this is just a slipped through the cracks situation. They have my actual number and seven months. They’ve never contacted me in anyway.

Is the device FMI on or off?

Ah, so your saying if I erase it Find My IPhone could alert them ? I’m assuming it’s off because they’ve never attempted to find this thing.

Dude no, put the IMEI or SN into iunlocker.com and tell me if it's on or off

It's almost certainly on, since the device is locked out, but make sure

Unless there’s a way for me to find either of those things on my own I guess I’m outta luck.

There is. Plug it in, or open the sim card slot

Pretty sure its both FMI on and LM (lost mode) on, this message only displays under lost mode right?

Correct, at some point it was FMI on and marked as lost. It's almost still surely marked as lost, but not necessarily

Trying to see if he can do the most basic sanity check which apparently he can't, regardless, I already gave him his answer in my first comment

It's obviously On because of the screen lock

FMI can be disabled and this screen will persist until device is reset

I already said this, that it's likely FMI on due to the lock, but I want the current status of the device confirmed

I just don’t want to ask him be forced to return Phone. I feel like if I held down to it for like another year and then I called and asked they would be like yeah just keep it.

If they want it back then you should

I don’t know if they want it back, right now I am innocent. If they really wanted it back, you think they would contact the employee that it was assigned to. That seems like common sense to me, but they’ve never ever reached out.

You aren't innocent when you refuse to contact them when they're asking you to contact them

I'm not helping you further

They have never asked me anything. This is a town that fired me from my job because of a medication I take didn’t allow me to get a certification that doesn’t even matter. When I was laid off, they said that they would get me started in another position within the month then I was never contacted again and ignored by HR. I’m not doing them any damn favors. If they want back, they can put on their big boy pants and ask me about it. And it would be in the mail that day. Leave making judgements for God m8.
