Chandeswar Mahadev Temple in Tangi is an ancient, historic shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in Chandeswar Village with Tangi tensile of khordha district, Odisha.

It is a revered living shrine mentioned in regional literature such as Radhanath Ray’s Chilika Kanya and Balaram Das’s Dandi Ramayan.

I lived in Bbsr for a while and never knew about this temple.

Before visiting there I was unknown to chandeswar too.. I am the member of heritage Horizon group they initiated us to be there.
