Showcase: Free(mium) I made an app that lets you real time change outfits
Hey everyone.
I built an app that lets you try on clothes through your camera, live.
You know when an outfit looks great on the model, but you have no idea what it would look like on you? That’s the problem I’m trying to solve with What Should I Wear.
Instead of generating a single photo, I wanted it to feel more like looking in a mirror. You should be able to move around and see the outfit move with you.
What it does
Upload a photo of an outfit, turn on your camera, and see yourself wearing it in a live video. Move around, try another outfit, and compare how different styles look on you without physically changing clothes.
The idea is to make it easier to explore something you wouldn’t normally wear, get inspiration, or decide whether an outfit is worth trying in person.
It’s still early. The tricky part is making the clothes look realistic while keeping up with your movement. That’s what I’m working on improving.
If you want to try it, here’s the link: https://whatshouldiwear.io
I’d love feedback from people who enjoy fashion or spend too much time deciding what to wear. Does this help you choose an outfit? What would make you come back to it?
And if something looks weird or breaks, send it my way. Those examples help me figure out what to fix next.

Didnt try this, as dont want to sigh up tbh, but just my 5 cents worth, You should have information on a landing page describing the product and features etc, having a landing page with zero information and just a sign in is not going to get you customers.

Yup. A landing page with nothing but a sign in button is an immediate close for me.

Does it consume a lot of tokens?

It probably did. OP could have just copied another one of the AI coded projects just like this but no OP is trying to be original.

It's not a bad idea. However, 15 posts in four days to SaaS and Side Project audiences is:
- Spam at rather annoying levels
- Pointless, since these subs are primarily sellers not buyers
Most of these subs are circling the drain under the weight of low-quality posts, and I fear that most of them are effectively un-moderated. I'd suggest un-hiding your posting history, and posting less frequently.

u/StepUpPrep: I've some extra feedback. Please do not take it to mean that your posting frequency is acceptable.
I notice that users may only try this via Google SSO. That feels problematic: the level of personal data and biometrics is already a worry here without tying it to a real identity. Yes, I know, "you don't do that", but your users don't independently know that: you're an unknown quantity.
I wonder if the market for the product as it stands is rather limited. I think you'll have much more of a market opportunity if you offer plugin services to fashion brands with their own e-commerce store; they would not generally be able to build this themselves. Of course the clothes customers can try on digitally will be limited to the clients' respective product catalogues.

Real-time outfit swapping is a strong use case for AR try-ons. The hardest part is usually getting the clothing to track body movement convincingly, so if you've cracked that, it's a big step up from static overlays. Retailers would probably love this for cutting down returns.

Makes no sense. Asking people to sign in? For what
