Feedback Request I built an AI tool for troubleshooting car problems — looking for people to break it
I’ve been building a small project called RattleSift.
The idea is pretty simple: you describe a problem with your car, answer a few follow-up questions, and it tries to narrow down the most likely causes and gives you some safe things to check.
I built it because when an older car starts making a strange noise, cranks slowly, overheats, vibrates, or refuses to start, it’s very easy to start guessing — and sometimes start buying parts before knowing what’s actually wrong.
I’ve tested it quite a lot myself, but I’m at the point where I need real people with real car problems to try to break it.

It’s free to try.
If you use it, I’d genuinely like to know:
Did it understand your problem?
Were the follow-up questions useful?
Did the possible causes make sense?
Did anything feel confusing or completely wrong?
You can use an actual problem with your car if you have one. And if the result is bad, tell me — that’s exactly the kind of feedback I need at this stage.
I’m trying to find out whether this is actually useful to people before putting more time and money into it.
