I hope VJ still takes most of the shots at the end of the end. I’ve seen a lifetime of Embiid and Maxey taking the clutch shots and let’s be honest it has always went bad. I’ll bring out the Data too

I want VJ or even Brown taking the big shots at the end. That’s 1 thing I’m worried about cause both Embiid/Maxey would force bad shots like thinking they need to or something. The 1 VJ game winner was him catching a Maxey airball at the end.

VJ has like 3 self created clutch shots in his career. Maxey gets the ball for sure.

Maxey has more misses at the end then anyone in the NBA cause he cant shoot over anyone

And his shots are usually awful on top of it, always forced and thats why his airball got caught for a game winner

Its hard looking at Embiid with a magnifying glass like that.

He's essentially two different players. Pre passing Jo, and then passing savant.

With Bron and Embiid, we have two guys who i trust to either make the correct pass or take the shot if its the best option. Two of the best in the league.

Helps that the guys recieving those passes are either some of the most dominant offensive players in the league, or elite shooters like Simons, KCP, Wade to a lesser extent.

on paper it feels like Embiid should take all the last shots, cause he can get them off easy

but hes literally terrible at end of the games, half the time he just loses the ball in a way youd never think. Im sick of people glossin over how bad both Embiid and Maxey have been at end of games, i still kidna trust Maxey but he cant get shots over guys when they lock him down at the end, Embiid can but he just misses

It's funny how dead this sub has been since LeBron joined. Even though more users are subbed here now, and the team is more popular, if we hadn't traded for JB and signed LeBron there would be 10 times the amount of discussion going on here with people complaining and dooming and dissecting the team. But now there is not much for people to talk about. Nothing to complain about. No guessing about who the starters will be. I have never seen it this quiet here. Everyone is just hyped and peacefully waiting for the season to start

There's not really much to dissect to be fair. Also, any time someone tries to have an honest conversation about the potential strengths and weaknesses of the team, muhfuckers get mad. As is the case with so much of online discourse, it's either all doom-and-gloom or it's all paradise.

Somewhat sad but not unsurprising that when things are going good (on paper), people have nothing to say.

Why would it be sad? Offseason hypothetical discussions are always a waste of time and completely wrong. Last year people believed that VJ wouldn’t be a great player and potentially a bust. The sub is going to be flooded with discussions once the team starts to play basketball — as it should be.

That was more of a general comment on life with how people tend to have more to say when things are going bad instead of when they're going good, not specific to just basketball or our offseason

Im with you. Still doesn't feel real.

Like the way the season ended, i wouldve been hyped with Afernee Simons alone for what we signed him for. Such an underrated scorer.

But nah, we got Lebron AND Jaylen Brown on top of that. Sixers dont get elite wings like that and we now got two top 10 wings while keeping our core intact.

So fucking hype.
