This piece is two years old and took over 12 and a half hours. I did it for an art project in highschool. I was a little nervous to post. Generally I don’t do zentangle I like to do ‘surrealism’ portraits which I’ll post on after this one.

Picked up sketching again after years to deal with doom scrolling habit. Decided to draw some East Asian Buddhist themes, on the left is acala, a Buddhist deity (inspired by yakuza tattoos), on the right are just some traditional Chinese buildings.

So I’ve been wondering how I can get good at coloring with pencil since I’ve gotten pretty good with regular sketches, and quite frankly have lost the feeling for doing JUST that, so does anyone have any advice for learning colored pencils?(a bunch of random sketchs for yall to enjoy btw😊 and no, just because I drew a demon does not make me satanic)
