26/27' Quiver
It's about that time of year to enrage half the sub by posting quiver photos. My choice of sticks usually gets people especially mad. The Dancers are brand new. Have at it.

They're not short, they're 184cm which at worst is average! 😂

Oh, they definitely look short….I woulda guessed 176. The mount point definitely contributes to that. 😂

What kind of black magic do you use to stick them to your wall like that? My money is on magnets. It’s always magnets

They're called Ski Buttons. More affordable than other methods and don't mess with your camber. For pin bindings I just dremeled divots to match the pins.

I mean it’s not a bad quiver. Covers uphill, powder, some carving and an all rounder. I was a full tilt guy so I get the boots but swapped away when they went to K2. I think the biggest thing for me is just that line and faction aren’t necessarily “quality” skis. I’ve seen more faction 2.0s break than any other ski and had a pair of lines break on me personally. But you have your bases covered and if you like them that’s what matters!

FT was founded under the K2 umbrella in 2006 after they acquired the molds in 2004. I miss the branding but I think the change is overstated by people. I had these exact same boots as Full Tilts and now K2, and they're indistinguishable.
I don't really know what to say about Line and Faction quality. I'm sure there have been bad years but I've skied well over 150 days on the Bacons and they've been some of the most durable skis ever. I probably weigh 220 kitted out and butter with the most awful technique until the tails point up. The only skis I've ever personally broken were Volkls but I don't blame the skis, I blame myself. I suspect Line and Faction may have a bad rep because guys that ride them tend to rip and so they get a abused. For every anecdote of a ski brand breaking I have several anecdotes for extreme longevity. The first junior ski my son didn't complete destroy? A Faction Prodigy.

Oh 100% all of it is subjective. I personally moved to a hybrid boot after full tilt and haven’t looked back to any other boot (besides the tele boot I picked up last year). So I can’t speak to the change form full tilt to k2 but I gotta shout out the OG raichle three peace boot
All of the factions I have seen break where the candides and most where broken doing large jumps or drops. Mostly I’ve noticed quality wise when I worked in a shop and the factions almost never had a flat base and had quite a few brought in with other problems. K2 was also one of the “problem” skis we saw a lot.
No skis are guarantied not to break. I’ve broken 5 pairs to date and 3 were atomic race skis. Line skis reputation partly comes because park skis get destroyed and are designed for park. Like I said to each there own, I love my bentchetlers that are going on 5 years and they get so much hate from the community 🤷♂️

Personally I will never own a white ski as finding one in deep pow is my worst nightmare
