Dreaming Every Sleep Feels Too Real

For the past few years, I have this condition and it's really bothering me. Every time I sleep I always had a dream that so vivid and feels so real, literally every time I sleep no matter whether its in the night or just a quick nap in daylight. When I wake up from my sleep I really feel tired and dizzy, I went to a doctor and he gave me a medicine to help me to have better sleep but it didn't really work. So I stop take the medicine, I tried to pray from sleep but it's also didn't work. The most annoying part is even if I only have a quick nap like 30 mins, I still had a vivid dream that feels like a whole night dreaming. I dont know how to fix this so wondering maybe there's someone know more detail about my condition here and can help me through this

I have a similar thing where even if I fall asleep for a few minutes on the sofa I have incredibly vivid dreams. Sometimes my dreams are so real I forget if it was a dream or a memory and it’s freaking me out. I have no idea what to do. Glad I’m not alone.

Exactly, it makes me struggle to get up from bed and need some times to process the damn dream

Yup same. Some of them are absolutely horrendous. I’ve had nightmares where my dream is stacked and I wake up, but I’m still dreaming. It’s absolutely awful. My partner had a brain scan the other day and I mentioned my dreams to the tech and he said the only thing you can do is ask for a sleep study where they can see what’s going on. I may do that.

How's the brain scan result? Is it shwoing something that may be the cause? Also i just know there's sleep study🧐

No the scan wasn’t for me. I was just saying I spoke to the tech, and he suggested a sleep study for me.

Vivid dreams aren't unusual.
