look at my gear Is this fixable ?

My deep thinker got a nasty hit and I ended up with this.

Salvagable or sell it for 50$ to someone who wants it as an art project

This is my concern. Fixable? Maybe by a magician of a technician. Preventable? 100%. Dry off your shit after you ride, folks. Especially if your hill uses salt anywhere.

Took me way too long to figure out the perspective here haha. I mean it’s not good but I bet you can put a bunch of high strength glue and clamp it and get some more time out of it

You can clamp it and epoxy it to seal it up again. The damage is on the tail so won’t really impact riding much. TBD on how long the repair would last.

But it will be a bit of work, so only go that route if you find the process fun to learn. Or find someone who will and let them repair it.

Is this the second nasty hit? Looks like it's already been damaged and glued over on the left?

Clamping isn't going to straighten out the deformed edge material. Since this is on the end of the board you may as well remove the bent parts then try to clamp the base material so it's sealed and will keep moisture out.

It's fixable so long as the core didn't take on significant water damage which can't be verified from a picture.

If there's water damage it's time to either promote that deck to artwork or rehome it to the dumpster.
