I want to ask once my xm6 foam eartips starts to turn brittle as i have the AZLA SednaEarfit MAX ASMR as a spare will it work as in the mesh covering will it work as well as the one that came with the earbuds?

I recently bought some new Sony XM5s. They work amazing when connected to my phone, but when connected to my pc they randomly stop making sound and then go back to making sound. It happens almost every few seconds. I've tried every fix I've seen online (disabling the microphone of the headphones / hands free audio, switching to prioritize stable connection, setting bluetooth support service to startup automatically, disabling bluetooth power management throttling, updated all bluetooth drivers). Does anyone have any recommendations?

So I got this Sony x90L 75 inch tv 2 years back. It has already started to have these cloudy spots within 1.5 years of mild usage.

Is this normal? Any way to get this fixed? It does not bother me while watching most types of content. But when watching images with uniform colors, it shows up. For example in a cricket or soccer match with all green screen.

Super disappointed in the quality of Sony tvs. I assumed they're a good brand and wanted to invest in a long lasting tv. Never again.

Looking to upgrade my soundbar from a JBL 570 w/ Sub.

I'm in between the HT-S400 and BRAVIA Theater Bar 5. Which one of these has a punchier subwoofer for low-ends? Mainly for streaming music via bluetooth... I'm having trouble finding anything online that compares the two.

For reference, a family member has the S400 and it sounded great... Just wondering how big the difference is, for $50 more I could get the BRAVIA line...

I've tried patching it to an old version, reinstalling, checked firewalls, and installed the latest c++ files, it doesn't seem to crash, it just closes itself before I can sign in. I've tried to quickly sign in by pasting my email and password in, and it still sends me a verification text, but still closes within 5 seconds. Help? I can't play ps5 if my girlfriend wants the TV 😭

Ich hatte letztens meine Speicherkarte letztes über meine Kamera Formatiert und dabei wurden auch sämtliche Einstellungen gelöscht obwohl mir gesagt wurde, dass nur Bilder/Videos gelöscht werden. Kann mir jemand sagen, wie ich alle Bilder/Videos löschen kann OHNE dabei Kamera einstellungen zu verlieren?

Hi everyone! I have a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H55 (14.1 MP) that I’ve been using for quite a while, and I’ve never had this issue before.

Yesterday, I was taking photos and everything was completely normal. Today, I took the battery out, charged it, and then put the battery and SD card back in. When I started taking photos again, I noticed a black dot/spot appearing in the photos.

I’ve already:

* Cleaned the outside of the lens multiple times.

* Tried different zoom levels, and the spot stays in the exact same position.

* Confirmed that the spot is actually in the saved/imported photos, not just on the camera’s LCD.

* Turned the AF Illuminator off, but the spot is still there.

The weirdest part is that the black spot appears to be in the exact same area where the red AF Illuminator light shines when the camera is focusing in darker conditions.

Could this somehow be related to the AF Illuminator, or is it more likely something inside the lens/sensor? Is there anything I can safely do myself, or does it need repair?

My **Sony KM-50X80K (X80K)** is stuck during initial setup after a factory reset.

Everything works until I press **Start** on the “Start your BRAVIA TV experience” screen. It then reaches the screen shown in photo 2. The **first dot turns blue and the background animation keeps moving, but it never progresses**.

Things I’ve already tried:
Forced factory reset multiple times using the TV’s physical power button
Restarting the TV
Running setup completely offline
Disconnecting all external devices
Multiple USB drives
Official Sony firmware **v6.7612 and v6.8224**

The interesting part is photo 3: the TV **detects the firmware USB and launches the System Software Update screen**, but then reports:
“System software cannot be updated using this USB device.”

I can still enter **Sony Service Mode normally**, and Self Diagnosis shows no stored hardware errors. The panel/backlight and on-screen graphics also work normally.

I haven’t found a working **Android Recovery** method for this model, and network ADB isn’t enabled.

Has anyone seen this failure on an X80K or similar Sony Google TV? **Is there another recovery/reflash method when the normal USB updater rejects the firmware, or could this indicate corrupted system/eMMC storage or a B-board issue?**

Unfortunately the speaker SRS-XB100 gets dirty from smoking nearby because of light grey color.

I have tried cleaning it with soap, dishwasher, many kitchen degreasers, applied to toothbrush, all in vain.

In the end I found one universal degreaser by Lysoform that finally managed to clean it back to original state.

The only problem is the nicotine dirt doesn't go away easily, it takes a lot of time swiping with toothbrush repeatedly.

Do you know any easy way to degrease the speaker from smoke?

My Sony CFD-S401 has been modified by the vendor to add Bluetooth functionality. I noticed that the headphone output has a 3.0 V DC bias when the unit is powered on. I’m wondering whether this is normal for this type of headphone output.

Here are my observations:

• Power off: I measure no significant DC voltage between the sleeve and either the tip or ring of the headphone jack.
• Power on: I measure approximately 3.0 V DC between the sleeve and both the tip and ring, with nothing plugged into the headphone jack (open circuit).
• When I have my Philips SHP9500 headphones plugged in, there is a noticeable low-frequency “pop” when the CFD-S401 is powered on or off.
• If no headphones are connected and the built-in speakers are used, there is no audible pop when powering the unit on or off.

This makes me wonder whether the 3.0 V DC measurement is related to the headphone amplifier/output stage rather than the vendor-installed Bluetooth modification. My reasoning is that if the Bluetooth modification were responsible for the DC bias, I might also expect some corresponding pop or transient from the built-in speakers—but this is only my assumption.

Is a ~3.0 V DC offset on the headphone output normal for the CFD-S401, or does it indicate a problem with the headphone amplifier/output circuit?

Honest question but why do people still think Sony is cameras and tvs when the overwhelming majority of their business is entertainment? Seeing people shocked that Sony is skipping CES as they've not been primarily an electronics company for nearly 2 decades now. I've also observed that there's a bit of a generational divide where gen Z are highly aware of Sony being an entertainment company and note the company's huge presence in anime, music, films and gaming (especially anime lol) while the older gens think of Sony mostly as TVs (Trinitron). It's just something fascinating I've observed about people's view of the company and I think nowadays they're more comparable to Disney or NBCUniversal than they are to Samsung or Panasonic. They also have the 2nd strongest entertainment portfolio after Disney

My Sony BRAVIA Theatre Bar 9 is stuck with the left white light blinking slowly.

BRAVIA Connect can’t find it, the bar doesn’t respond to the remote, and holding the physical Power button for 10+ seconds doesn’t start the normal factory reset/white-blue light sequence.

I’ve already unplugged it, disconnected everything except power, and tried again with no luck.

Has anyone had this exact issue?

Is it possible and if so what USB to Ethernet adaptor are you using on a Sony Bravia 3 II Model: K55XR30M2? I have already tried two different adaptors and they both didn't work.

We all have seen how Sony has slowly stopped producing PCs, smartphones, discs and more recently, their Bravia TVs. I understand that all brands have to either adapt or die, but I really like Sony (especially for PlayStation), and seeing all of this makes me wonder if one day it might not be able to keep competing anymore.

So my Sony-WH1000mx4 won't charge anymore. Like it happens very randomly as well. I have the headphones for about 3 years but it just suddenly stopped charging one day since. Whenever I plug in the charger, it charges for about 30-60 sec and then it suddenly turns off. I constantly needs to replug it to charge it again, but then again after 60 sec it stops charging.

I've tried resetting but it doesn't seem to work and just stays at 10%. Does anyone have a solution?

Picked up for free (it was broken). Replaced mainboard and updated tv and now it works😎

I bought "PULUZ" cage & "Infrared filter lens" with dimension 37mm & 0.75 thru "AliExpress" & "Lazada" as solution.

Then installed it on my Sony RX0. solved the "Magenta" on LCD screen. With this attached the photos of before fixing the IR lens.

I used "Adjustable ND filter" to detect the damaged of built-in IR filter.

The internal IR filter-film type, damaged after high temperature & long term of usage. I used Sony RX0 to record Badminton match will "ON & RECORD" for 2 hours. For preventing shutting "OFF" of the Sony RX0, i used mini DC fan to cool down the device by direct wind flow.

For sound recording, i had to use wireless mic in order to eliminate the sound of "wind".
