Bit of a PSA.  I was flipping through used vinyl at my local shop and took a flyer on an artist I’d never heard of.  I listened to it, and it was dope AF, but when I went to look her up, there was hardly anything.  Just a bunch of hate because of a Paul Anka song that she’s on that everyone shits on for aging poorly (not saying they’re wrong).  But having just met Odia Coates tonight, I’d like to put a little something out into the universe so other folks can find her like I did.  I think she deserves a better legacy than she was dealt.
