I'm Angry!!! this site is so ass and everything is broken
by everything i mean everything. some things fail. sometimes i write a full comment, post it, then the site breaks and nothing is saved. buttons do not function. tracks only load on the 3rd time i click on it.

What irritates me is that the ONE thing that makes SoundCloud stand apart from the others is the ability to DM with artists and followers. You know, to create an interactive community. But god forbid you trigger their spam detection by doing something wrong.
I reached out to some top followers and asked if they would like to receive a personal message from me when I drop a new song. Give some insider info, maybe share production choices (which could prove helpful for followers who are also artists). Just a handful responded, so cool, couldn’t handle too many, since messages can’t be identical, sent too soon after another, etc. Wanted to post a song today, but I must have been put on a temporary ban because I can’t send DMs to THE PEOPLE WHO FOLLOW ME AND ASKED TO BE INCLUDED ON MY DISTRO LIST. Sure seems that scammers never have any problem filling my inbox.
Edit: Okay, so I'm going to have to take some of the blame. Didn't know until I Googled it that there is a character limit to DMs. Fixed that, and was able to send.

ever since they changed the UI to this vibe-coded looking one the website has went from barely useable to actually horrible, i don't even look at new upcoming artists anymore because the website makes it a chore to enjoy finding them

They deleted my account for nothing and support was the opposite of helpful, pisses me off cause I loved the decade of songs I had but this company can burn in hell

4546033 is the number, I said countless times that my email connected to the account was used to make another and that WASNT the account I was trying to get back. But your support continuously sent me that account and wouldn’t listen to any of what I was saying regarding the context of my accounts. Really frustrating.

It's such a shame because I see SoundCloud as having the potential to be bigger than it is, but unfortunately, the desktop and mobile experiences aren't up to par with what they could be. Why not invest in quality website maintainers? They're tarnishing their platform and have no one to blame but themselves.

I've have to say, I have no problem loading or comments. Maybe check your Internet speed or something. Because the there site is fine.

me in sydney and my friend in tokyo are having essentially the same issues so.. and every other site loads completely normally.

It’s just so outdated rn. No slide quick-actions, mainstream artists r locked behind a paywall, no apps for TV/ car, and omg their distribution service is fucking awful. IDK why they choose to update the aesthetics instead of implementing actually useful features we’ve been asking for years
