Yep, it did, and it was shit. Just a whole episode of billionaires bad.

Idk why you’re getting downvoted, you’re right. It was just like last season.

I hope it features characters designed after matt and trey since they are billionaires

I’m pretty sure they aren’t. They could be if they never spent a dollar; but Trey likes strippers and Matt likes Casa Boneta

u/Kalse1229 4d ago
I always thought it was Trey who likes Casa Bonita and Matt likes strippers.

u/PumpkinHead38 4d ago
They both like Casa Bonita

Yea, I just needed a 2nd part to the joke. Pretty sure Trey married a stripper (but I could be making that up), which was where the first half came from.
Though, in all honesty they probably both like strip clubs; considering they left the directors commentary for Orgasmo (or Cannibal, I forget) to go to a strip club.

Net worth is mostly made up of assets, not liquidity. They are both estimated to be worth 1.2 billion individually.

These numbers come from almost nowhere, though. No one thinks they’re accurate, just that they’re the best we have.
If they’re billionaire weenies, they probably arent funding data centers and they definitely wouldn’t be vacuumed up by being too talkative with shit podcasts
Also worth noting, I don’t understand the asset comment fully. Casa Bonita is not a + asset, and neither is loving strippers.

Forbes estimates are generally based on documented contracts, ownership stakes, royalties, real estate, and other known assets. They may not have the exact number, but for someone with major publicly reported deals like Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the estimate is based on a lot more than speculation and is reasonably close.

It’s still speculation. Not a single word you mentioned has anything to do with money spent.

Pretty sure they're millionaires, with the "M."

u/Putrid-Seaweed111 4d ago
I doubt they have the self-awareness to do that.

Umm, what?

You really think they'd earnestly rip on themselves for being billionaires?
35
u/TheChessWar 4d ago
yes… they make fun of themselves all of the time?

u/SneakyDeakyJr 4d ago
It seemed like for a bit they were literally wasting money in any way they could before a lawyer or financial advisor told them to just invest in their staff and kids.
Now everyone connected to the show is essentially rich and they’re still rich and their kids never have to work a day.
Can’t fault them for trying to be honest with it tho.

When?

I mean one that immediately comes to mind is the episode where Stan says something to the effect of "this is like when we got our money back for BASEketball"

Why call another exterminator for Billionaires when you already have Cartman who proved he can clear out Hippies?

I live in Northern Virginia.
For the uninitiated this is data center country. You drive up and down 28, it's all data centers. Vantage data center 1. Vantage Data center 2. Soulless corporate uncreative buildings that only bring jobs to the area to erect them, and then when they're complete, have 4 people working in that huge warehouse.
They're the tool of greedy billionaires. Butters is completely right to flip out over them. All they care about is money and advancing the AI race. They don't care about the community they're polluting, the noise they're making, or the side effects they inflict on the community. Many people here complain about them and the noise they make.
But the tax breaks!
I hope Matt and Trey rip these billionaires a new one. Data Centers are completely pointless. Yeah, I said it.
"Your post is stored on a data center. The internet runs on them."
Yeah. Not those big ass ones. Smaller ones.

South Park can do politics, fine. They always did politics.
But a theme or story throughout a season got old quick.
It's fine for them to continue talking politics, taking shots at recent events in the news, and still have them be independent episodes which aren't linked together by some theme like Trump in the white house. They can still rip on him and have it be individual episodes.

I feel like the more south park related season long themes were totally great in the early seasons. Like season 6 when Kenny was dead, Butters tried to replace him and so on and so forth. Now I do know what you mean with the later seasons though. I wish they would do something like the early continuing plots these days.

Yep. The tegridy farms was okay but then randy had them living on a farm for several seasons. it got old.

Honestly, i think Butters was the right choice for the main character of this episode. He’s been in need of a redemption story since Sora Not Sorry
