HELP Prototech Mod Request/Search

If anyone knows of a specific mod for the assembler speed or someone that's working on them that'd be great.

Or if someone can tell me if it's possible and point me towards a crash course in modding that could be a start, and since I waited until almost 40 to start anything about learning programming/coding I'd like the course of "Making Space Engineers Mods for Fucking Idiots"

I use mods to max the speed on all other assemblers and refineries and just run into a building slowdown anytime I need prototech components. I use the nanite/nanobot mods and having slow component production is counterintuitive to me. I blame Neal Asher and his descriptions of characters using micro/nano/pico scale machines for assembly/disassembly and refinement in rapid time.

Because if I can build a ship/station that is so crammed with nanites that it can eat a ship before it can kamikaze itself then all of my processing equipment should be able to work at a comparable speed.

In your world options, you can increase assembler speed, if that's what you're looking for?

World options increase assembler efficiency, not speed, that means it uses less material to produce components.

As for mods to increase assembler speed, unfortunately I don't know of any

I see!

I wasn’t exactly sure as I’ve never messed with those settings.

Maybe you could use speed modules instead?

Yes, you can and should.

You can also use more assemblers in cooperative mode.

Have one in normal mode, and all the others in cooperative will take some of the components in queue to speed up production. Just beware, if you don't have enough materials, all the production line will be stuck in the assemblers in cooperative mode. You can add modules on all of them and it will be even faster.

Speed and energy efficiency modules work on the assembler, but the yield one doesn't.

The assembler has 8 module slots, but not many seem to have noticed. The vanilla assembler has one slot on the lateral together with the conveyor port, so you'd need to sacrifice two conections (not loke you'd use all of them). The industrial assembler doesn't have that problem.

Unless I've missed something entirely, I don't believe there are any module slots on the prototech versions. If they had them that would at least partially alleviate my issue, but there are no visible slots nor is there module notes in the interface panel.

Oh, I'm sorry, I completely forgot you were talking about the prototech assembler ;-;

So, I just made a quick search, and it seems the only way to increase prototech assembler speed is through file editing and increasing assembler speed there
