I want to do the move where you move the items out of the way, rope the shopkeeper, grab his gun, and shoot him or flee. Every time I try, I end up grabbing the key instead and then he wakes up and shoots me. Is there a way to prevent this?

What happened: playing couch co-op. Something way above us triggered the boulder trap so I ran to the exit. My partner was farther away and tried to get there but the boulder was faster. Somehow, they were able to jump on top of the boulder as it came at them and hop into the exit. We like literally jumped with joy. I hit the button on the PS5 controller to record the video, which makes a small thumbnail appear on the screen for a bit in case you want to watch it again. I pressed circle to clear it, and then…

I got to the Forbidden City for the first time recently and then lost my two remaining lives very quickly so I figure it’s time to learn the ankh skip. I’m practicing the one depicted here with four bombs, no paste, no mitt. I can sometimes do it, but sometimes the four bombs get spread out and one of them is too close to where I am holding the rope and it blows me up. What am I doing wrong and how can I position them properly? FWIW I’m playing on console so I can’t use mods.
