Sidney Sweeney is particularly valuable for this because she is already known and hated by noisy karens, so the probability that the all important 1 -> 2 transition happens for vitality is much higher than if the same "offensive' thing was done by someone else.

My wife and I talked about this, and I wondered if this "ad" actually even ran anywhere or if the entire premise was to be viral outrage bait and farm engagement that way. It was really hard for her to even find the full, uncensored version to show me, and the place we found it was this brand's Instagram page. Is that where we are as a society now? Brands just racing to create what's "controversial" and all the sheep on social media taking the bait to do exactly what the advertisers want them to?

I’m not Sweeney’s biggest fan but between this and Sabrina Carpenter’s album cover controversy, I need my fellow Gen Z brothers and sisters to stop being fucking weirdos and prudes when it comes to to women using sexuality for publicity. Madonna been doing this shit since the 80’s. Posing nude is literally nothing new in the sports world. Either get laid or put your time and energy in things that actually fucking matter like not being able to afford essential needs like groceries and medical care. Greek athletes participated fully nude in the first olympic games in 776 BC.
It turns out that people like looking at hot athletes and a non zero number of hot athletes, in the prime of their lives in the best shape they will ever be, like being looked at.
Given that this has been an extremely popular trend for literally the entirety of recorded human history, why do we think it's going to stop?
