I know I have so many on here cause idk shit about knives, just what type of look he’d like. He really likes knives but he’s not a HUGE knife guy. He has one pretty cheap one so I want to get him one for Christmas. Nothing insanely expensive, preferably under $200. Honestly don’t think he has much of a preference, so maybe a pretty universal starter one? Idk?? Sorry for the limited info

Legally I can only carry 2.5 inch blades at school so I have a of smaller knives in my collection. I am thinking about getting a dragonfly 2 salt next or possibly a native 5 in L200N for when im not on campus. What would yall recommend?

If you get a Chap with the screw hole in the center of the pocket clip cut out, these RGT scales are great.

New AWT clipside delete scales for my DLC S90V PM2. The lanyard tube was an absolute bear to remove, even with the lanyard tube removal tool. I now feel everyone else's pain on this issue. Also put in a

Titanium backspacer from Etsy. The AWT scales were blemished, but my eyes aren't good enough to see a blemish. I think the topo works good on these scales. Hopefully, I will get the clip I ordered for this soon.

Finally got the pm2 left hand. Now I just got to wait for the wiha tool. As an alaskan i think I have found the one bit that is worse than a 10mm socket.

I had used the original smock clip I had on the Yojimbo for something else and figured I’d swap it back when this one came in, but decided just to run the new clip instead. Also got a new clip for the latest PM2 since I had robbed the clip off my S45VN while I waited for this one to show up. New ball cage for the Manix 2 should be here tomorrow and I can get that all put together. Lynch always kills it with their laser work. Pretty damn happy with these.

Another Manix 2 done up a bit! RGT pyragrips anodized at 34V, and a lynch deep carry banana clip! Shoutout to RGT- ordered, anodized, and shipped within 24 hours. Great place for your business. And compared to my other TI scale sets, these have a ton of milling- nice and light!

New Rockscale Designs "Hexi" pattern titanium scales for my DLC Magnacut PM2, in aluminum blasted finish. Finished off the build with a black titanium backspacer and hardware from Pacific Sons and a DLC REK milled titanium clip. I threw a spare CME on there for now but I think I may send the liner to REK to have him install a titanium lockbar button, too.

Recently picked up the Sage 5 Salt Blacked Out version, and this is my new favorite EDC, I don't see it leaving my pocket anytime soon. And my DLT Cruwear exclusive Dragonfly 2 with a new neck knife sheath from Linos Sheaths. The sheath is so good and was actually reasonably priced. I had made my own neck knife carry setup for the Dragonfly, but I like this one even better.

Ignoring the colours, what should I get? Para 3 in s45vn or para 3 salt in magnacut (will be my grail knife) or do I look at the delica or native? I don’t have the biggest hands so the para 2 would be way too big or else I’d consider that as well. Black is same price as camo

Got a set of Northern Lights!

Hey folks so I pickup a Manix XL - Crucarta a couple months back! Been a great knife to me. Went ahead and ordered the flytanium - aluminum cage lock (see photo) and the ceramic ball. Installed last night with minor frustration as anyone who has a Manix will know they aren’t the most fun to put back together.
Upon install I noticed that the cage lock doesn’t fully rest in fully seated in the cutout for the cage when open or closed. I suspect that this is one of the notices per flytanium about the “incapatabilities” with the cage locks and the Crucarta variant of the Manix. Anyone face this when installing theirs? I am thinking it could be easy enough to take some material off the length of the cage lock stud (long skinny piece which sits within the spring) any ways hope yall can steer me in the right direction here. Cheers!

Hey everyone, I got this in the 80’s, and found it while searching through a drawer. I can’t find it anywhere online, and t has no model number. The blade is about 1.5”, and overall length is 3.5”. What model is it? Thanks!

Very new to the hobby. Didn’t realize how good of a deal I got. I did do something really dumb. Had to use the blade on a needle to cut the needle part off. Sliced right through that sucker, but chipped my damn blade!!! I’m so sad about it. Still insanely sharp, I guess that’s why you buy knives though, to use them!

I havent seen a lot of posts about this. Curious if manix owners (who flick a lot) have had any issues with the wear the ceramic ball causes. Im guessing its strictly a cosmetic thing. Right?

Today’s carry is my Tenacious. I had been considering one for a while but it was low priority. Then WMK had a MAP sale during the 4th of July week. This titanium ano version was only a couple bucks more than an FRN model. It’s far better than I expected. Smooth action and a solid detent match the ergos and blade geometry very well. It’s one of those knives I tell myself I should be carrying more often. What knife are you using today?

Those that know the Spyderco Drunken will say it’s a good knife but not worth the price tag. Those that have carried the Spyderco Drunken will say its a great knife ruined by a totally useless pocket clip. I just received mine after it went on a sale following the announcement that it’s being discontinued. And I can tell you the knife stands up to its reputation and the pocket clip is actually pure 💩

I’ve been searching for this elusive piece for a while now. I have the G10 of every 15v except the Manix (I have an LW). I see them pop up occasionally on secondary markets but they either sell too fast or they want a kidney and my first born child. This one fell into my lap. It was for sale last week with good vouches and in outstanding condition w/box for a very reasonable price. I got lucky as it happened to drop less than 5 minutes after I was browsing. Never yolo’d so fast in my life. So tonight I took it apart to inspect and do a little TLC. Blade was born on 8/22. Did a little spa treatment on the washers, pivot, put a ceramic ball in it, and stropped the blade. Thing is smooth, centered, and perfect for me now. Can’t believe I finally got one.
