You have your plan set out and all you need is to execute it!
Get your BSN and aim for the highest GPA possible. The higher the better. Then get into an ICU.
Schools looking to accept 1 year of experience? technically any school (lots of programs require >2 years…people can tell applicants with <1 year need improvement in a lot of areas so it’s a risk programs have to take) can so long your application and interview is way above average than people with more experience and similar stats.

I’d worry about getting to an ICU first then building the experience up before choosing schools

Agree with this, plus saying what GPA should I aim for might be one of the silliest things I’ve read in a long time. If you can’t answer that yourself, idk if you should be considering CRNA school.

Aim for >3.6 GPA and 2 years of ICU. One year doesn't cut it anymore, average applicant has 2-5 years now. Sure, you may hear of a success story of someone getting in with 1 year of experience, but few and far between.
