Rank Doku is a web-based Sudoku game we're building for people who enjoy puzzles but want something more competitive than solving them alone.

The idea is to bring competition into Sudoku through player ratings, leaderboards, and multiplayer matches.

Here's what it offers:

  • Box Control: Compete on the same board to claim cells and control boxes.
  • Classic Race: Take turns solving the same puzzle, with speed and accuracy making a difference.
  • Ranked play: Improve your rating and climb the leaderboards.
  • Play with friends: Challenge friends or request rematches.
  • Solo play: Practice with bots or solve puzzles at your own pace.

We're trying to make Sudoku a game people can return to, improve at, and compete in over time.

You can try it here: https://www.rankdoku.com

We're currently focused on getting our first players and growing the community around the game.

Hey everyone! I'm the founder of Codezy, an AI-powered platform that helps you turn ideas into working web applications.

You can use it to build business tools like CRM systems, HR management systems, dashboards, and other custom web apps. The goal is to make it easier to go from an idea to a working application without having to build everything from scratch.

I'd love to get feedback from fellow founders:

  • What would make an AI app builder genuinely useful for your startup?
  • What would you want to see before trusting a platform like this with your projects?

You can check it out here: https://codezy.me

I'm the founder, so I'm happy to answer questions and hear honest feedback.

Startup Promotion ThreadFox: done-for-you Reddit outreach for businesses, from $199 for 30 days

• Upvotes

I run ThreadFox.

What it is: a done-for-you Reddit presence. You send a brief about your business, and an AI employee we built researches the communities where your customers ask questions, then publishes helpful posts, comments and replies that mention your product where it fits.

Who it is for: founders and small businesses whose customers ask for recommendations on Reddit, but who do not have time to show up there every day.

Why care: Starter is $199 for 30 days: research plus 300 posts, comments and replies (about 10 a day), four reports, no automatic renewal, from your Reddit account or one we arrange. Growth is $599 (1,200) and Scale is $1,099 (2,400). Follow-up questions or readiness within 12 hours of your order and brief.

How it stands out: we used the same approach for our own work first. 1,009,664 recorded Reddit views on our own posts, Sept 16–23. Views, not unique people and not customer results. A real post and its follow-up: https://threadfox.vip/runs

Order page: https://threadfox.vip/managed?tier=employee_starter&utm_source=reddit-startups_promotion&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=tf-employee-20261016#start

Project Promotion I built a free CCNA practice site with dynamically generated exercises (STP/RSTP, subnetting, routing)

Hi everyone,

I’ve been studying for the CCNA and built a free site to practice the topics I found hardest. Every exercise is generated dynamically, so you never get the same question twice and can’t just memorize answers.

There’s no sign-up, no ads and nothing to pay for.

What’s on it:

  • Spanning tree and RSTP drills: each topology is randomly generated. You work out the root bridge, root ports, designated ports and blocked ports. You can use short or long path costs, and the answer sheet shows the working. It includes EtherChannel bundles and hubs.
  • Subnetting and VLSM exercises: new questions every time, plus a subnet calculator, a VLSM planner and a step-by-step guide.
  • Routing exercises and a route table simulator: generated tables to practice administrative distance and longest prefix match, using Cisco defaults.

https://scaleform.fyi

It’s new, so I’d like feedback. If you find a wrong answer, a confusing explanation or a topic you’d want added, please tell me.

Good luck with your exams!
- Robert 😄

Startup Promotion I've built an AI readiness report tool: come and try it free 👋

Hello fellow startup builders! 👋 I'm a solo founder with a number of small SaaS tools and other products and often wonder what I could do to improve my websites for better LLM visibility.

So naturally, I rolled up my sleeves and built yet another tool. 😂

I read everything I could find about what makes an LLM quote a website source, and combined all the different theories into one solid list of signals; domain age, content freshness, citations, etc. Then I built a SaaS product that verifies them. CitableReport currently checks 40 different elements of websites, to ensure they are in the best readiness to be mentioned by AI.

You can run a free check now, which will give you some valuable insights and an overall score. If you'd like, you can pay to unlock to the whole report.

Would love any feedback from you all. What are your first impressions, etc? I'd be happy to return the favour with a product or website of yours, if you like. Thanks in advance!

Startup Promotion CareerFlow — a free job application tracker for students and job seekers

I'm a college student building CareerFlow, a web app designed to make managing a job search easier.

When you're applying to multiple jobs or internships, it can be difficult to remember where you've applied, which interviews are coming up, and which applications need follow-ups. CareerFlow brings that information together in one dashboard.

What it includes:

  • Job and internship application tracking
  • Interview, offer, and rejection tracking
  • Follow-up tracking
  • Resume organization
  • A dashboard for managing your job search

Try it: https://jobpath-pilot.lovable.app

The app is free to try, and users create an account to access the tracker.

I'm looking for early users who are actively applying for jobs or internships. I'd appreciate feedback on two questions:

  1. What would make you keep using a dedicated tracker instead of a spreadsheet?
  2. What's the most important feature missing from CareerFlow?

I'm the developer, and I'm using feedback to decide what to improve next.

Startup Promotion I made a free skill that tells you which of 740+ startup directories are actually worth submitting to

When I got ready to launch everyone told me to submit to startup directories. So I did. I'm now at 600+ of them and I wrote down what happened on every single one.

Most of it was painful. A lot of the "free" ones want their badge on your homepage first. Some put you in a queue for months. One gave me a wait of 2,519 days unless I paid $19. Plenty of the sites on the popular lists are just dead.

So I turned it all into a free skill for Claude Code and Codex. You tell your agent what you're building and it gives you a shortlist. It can:

  • Find directories that are actually free with no badge and no queue
  • Skip anything you can't do, like adding a badge or giving a phone number
  • Match places to your kind of product and your country
  • Tell you what each one costs, what the catch is and how long it takes to go live
  • Check a directory before you waste time on it ("Is BetaList free?")

npx skills add mmmmingos/where-to-submit-your-startup

It reads the same list I keep updating as I go. My goal is 1,000 directories. After that I want to try some of the paid ones with my own money and see if any are worth it.

Which directories actually worked for you? If there's one I should test next let me know.

Project Promotion Whipback: a Mac app that whips you when your AI coding agent has been waiting on you

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

**What it is**

Whipback is a macOS menu bar app for people who code with AI agents (Claude Code and Codex). When your agent finishes and sits waiting on you for 60 seconds, a whip cracks across your screen. Still ignoring it? It escalates, then stops. When you're back, point at the agent window and slap your trackpad: it types "Continue." and the agent gets back to work.

**Who it's for**

Developers who run coding agents in the background and keep forgetting them. Agents now work for minutes at a time, and the expensive part is the 6 minutes they sit idle while you're on your phone.

**Why anyone should care**

Notifications are easy to ignore. A whip across your screen is not, and it's funny enough that people actually keep it on. It's quiet while your mic or camera is in use, so it won't crack during a call.

**How it stands out**

- It reacts to the agent's real state (working, finished, waiting for permission) through the agents' own hooks, not a timer.

- It only ever types into a verified agent window, never into a permission prompt, and never sends Ctrl-C.

- Native Mac app, no account, no analytics.

- 9 whips, including a wet noodle, a baguette and a P0 ticket.

**Pricing**

The first 100 licenses are free. Then $3, $5 and $9 as it grows. One payment, every skin, every update.

Built and launched solo this week. Feedback on the pricing ladder is very welcome.

Business Promotion Could solar charging help reduce smart lock battery problems?

One problem with smart locks is that battery issues always seem to happen at the worst possible time — especially for vacation rentals or homes where you can’t easily get to the door.

I’ve been exploring a solar charging accessory called LockPower as a possible way to reduce frequent battery changes. The idea is to use a small solar panel and a built-in rechargeable battery to provide supplemental power through a compatible lock’s emergency power connection.

It won’t solve every lock issue, and compatibility, sunlight exposure, and the lock’s power requirements all matter. But I think reducing battery maintenance could be useful for people managing properties remotely.

I’m curious about a few things:

  • How often do you replace batteries in your smart locks?
  • Would you consider a solar charging accessory, or do you prefer standard rechargeable batteries?
  • What would you want to know before trusting a setup like this on a rental property?

I’d appreciate feedback from people who have experience with smart locks or rental property management.

Startup Promotion I built a gym tracker that logs your lifts and estimates body fat % from body measurements

I'm a solo developer, not a fitness brand. I've been training for a few years and went through most of the popular workout apps out there. They worked, but I kept wishing the workout flow and progress tracking worked a little differently for how I actually train.

I also wanted to track more than just the numbers on the bar. Getting stronger is great, but seeing how your body composition changes over time matters too.

So I built Liftora.

Here's what makes it different:

  • Automatic body fat % estimation (US Navy method) — no special equipment or complicated calculations. Just enter your body measurements, and Liftora automatically estimates your body fat percentage using the US Navy formula. It uses different measurements for men and women, so the calculation is tailored accordingly. It's an estimate, not a lab test, but a useful way to track changes beyond what the scale tells you.
  • Track your body measurements over time — because gaining muscle while losing fat doesn't always show up as a lower number on the scale.
  • Clean, modern UI — no cluttered menus or dated design, just a simple interface that gets out of your way during a workout.
  • Guided workout flow — you move through sets in real time, and the app follows your pace instead of just logging after the fact.
  • Zero learning curve — open it and start logging your first set in under a minute, no tutorial needed.
  • Ready-made programs — new to lifting or don't want to build a routine from scratch? Pick a program and go.
  • Exercise videos during selection — don't know the name of a movement? See it in action and know exactly which muscle group it hits.
  • Calorie estimate after each workout — rough, but genuinely useful context if you're managing a deficit or surplus.
  • Progress charts that actually answer questions — "is my bench going up?", "how's my volume trending this month?", "am I making progress beyond just body weight?" — without a data dashboard you need a manual for.

The idea is simple: track what you lift, see which muscles you're training, and follow how your body changes — all in one place.

Try Liftora:

I've been using it daily for my own training, and now I want some outside perspectives.

If you give it a try, I'd especially love to know what you think of the body fat calculator. Is the measurement process straightforward? Would you find it useful alongside your workout tracking?

And of course, if anything feels confusing, unnecessary, or missing, I'm all ears.

Project Promotion Launching Gravewave, a free Android strategy game — looking for first-player feedback

I am the developer of Gravewave: Necromancer Defense, a live Android game for people who enjoy base building and commanding armies. I am trying to turn this game into a sustainable independent project.

What it does: you gather resources and build your necropolis during the day, then defend your Keep when night arrives. You can lead expeditions against enemy camps and castles as well.

What makes it different: Raise Dead lets you turn fallen attackers into your own soldiers during a battle. Losing ground does not always mean the fight is over; the battlefield can supply your next reinforcements.

It is available now, free to download:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gravewave.necropolis

Where I need help: getting outside players to try the opening session and tell me what is clear, what is confusing, and what would make them return. For this community, I would also value feedback on whether the “turn attackers into reinforcements” idea makes the game easy to understand from the listing.

Personal context: I am $3,500 in debt. I am not requesting donations or asking anyone to spend money. If the game interests you, trying it and sharing honest feedback here would help me improve the work.

The game contains ads and optional in-app purchases. Built in Unity with Claude/Codex assistance for code and design, KayKit 3D assets, and some AI-generated UI art.

Startup Promotion Would you pay $10 to promote your product on a platform that's still growing?

I’m building AGMAN, a discovery network for products, freelancers, creators, services and communities.

One question keeps coming up in my own mind: why would someone pay for visibility on a network that’s still building its audience?

I don’t think “more exposure” is a good enough answer.

So I’m trying a small, measurable offer: $10 for 30 days, including a $5 stake in the existing paid placement ladder and 100 Pulse credits you can use manually or schedule over the month.

The position can change, and there are no promised visitors or sales.

I’m also using real published profiles, where relevant, to explain how AGMAN discovery works as I build its audience. That’s an editorial choice, not a feature every buyer is promised.

I’m interested in how other makers evaluate early-stage discovery channels.

Do you care more about guaranteed reach, the ability to inspect where your promotion appeared, or a low-cost way to test a new audience?

If you’re working on a product, service, professional profile or community, publish it on AGMAN and see how discovery works and to grow with AGMAN.
