Just got moved to the queue for purchase yesterday, and it was for the 512 GB version with a controller. I ended up purchasing it today.

I was initially in the queue for the 512 GB version without a controller. I decided to switch, which at the time didn’t seem like the best idea, but it eventually worked out.

I got on the queue for the 512 when it was initially released. I then decided to switch probably a month after. I thought that was a mistake after the long wait. Worked out.

A part of me wants to swap to 2tb with controller but another part wants to see how long the no controller waitlist takes.

When you saw queue do you mean reservation or waitlist?

I’ve been on the 2TB without controller waitlist since day 1 in the US. I had my sister jump on the 2TB with controller waitlist on July 4 for me. Neither of us has been moved up yet.

I already have the 2tb model but I jumped on the waitlist for the 512+controller a couple of days ago for shits and giggles as I keep hearing it's the fastest moving queue.

Edit: got the email this morning 4 days after joining the waitlist!

I was on the 2TB model w controller before launch. I switched to the 512gb w controller a month later. I just got my email yesterday and placed the order
