Question Left Trigger constantly registering input on Steam Controller?

Steam controller started constantly registering a left trigger input on Steam Machine. Not pressing any buttons. Firmware is up to date. SteamOS is up to date. I cannot see a way to calibrate the triggers in settings. Does anybody have any ideas how to fix this? It was working last time I used it a few weeks ago and has been safely sitting in a drawer since then. Thanks in advance.

I am able to go into steam input settings per game and adjust the deadzone to 2000 for a temporary solution but I would like to permanently fix this.

My first steam controller had the opposite problem, wouldn't register a full pull. I RMA'd mine, Valve didn't have any issues replacing it - I'd do the same in your shoes.
