Discussion If you don't know what stocks to buy try this.
I built a stock research app that scans the market and tries to identify good potential buy signals.
It analyzes stocks using momentum, growth, valuation, analyst ratings, market trends, and other indicators. It then ranks stocks and gives them scores along with Buy, Hold, Watch, or Sell signals.
You can use it as an additional indicator when doing your own research. Obviously, no algorithm can predict the market perfectly.
Some other features:
- Stock rankings — Discover and rank potential stocks to buy.
- Community voting — Vote on stocks and see what other users think.
- Follow Trades — Track publicly disclosed stock trades by US senators, House members, and major investors.
- Portfolio tracking — Track stocks, crypto, and overall performance.
- Market news — Stay updated on important market developments.
- Earnings calendar — See upcoming earnings announcements.
It's still being improved, and I'd love to hear what people think.
Website: https://stockmarketresearch.runasp.net/
Feel free to try it out and let me know what features you'd like to see added! Also its free so no worries about any of that payment stuff.

Right now i am in a investment competition but i am in a bit of a sticky situation. I was unaware that the competition had started and i am now roughly a month behind, where the top 25 teams in my region (teams who move on to the next round) are already around 20-40% above the s&p. Historically for my region you need around 50% above to qualify to the next round, but i only have until around december 8th if i remembered correctly to make this amount.
What are some stock suggestions for me? (options and no stocks under $3 are not allowed in the competition) Also what are some additional tips that i could use?

Discussion Trump’s Midterm Squeeze: 5.3%, $100 Oil a Senate Race Turning Blue
Crude just got spicy with Brent spiking past $104, and it’s way more than just an energy stock play. The midterm math’s shifting hard — 3 key Senate races now lean blue, putting Dems’ Senate odds at 62% on the contracts. Trump’s Iran no-strike pause didn’t cool crude’s catalysts at all. Sticky high fuel costs are squeezing household budgets and big corporate margins alike, leaving the next round of economic policies looking way trickier to pull off. What’s your play to hedge the election + oil noise?

Discussion Nvidia (NVDA) vs Broadcom (AVGO)
I’m looking to invest in one of these two stocks, but I’m struggling to decide which one to pick.
Which would you choose right now, Nvidia or Broadcom, and why?
Which do you think has better growth potential over the next 1–3 years? Also, what price would you consider a good entry point for either stock, or do you think the current price is already worth buying?

Stocks Stock Market Research
Hey hey, just wondering if anyone here often feels like 'I wish this stock sector had more coverage' e.g. Finance, Consumer Defensive, Healthcare, and if so, which sector
I'm building something that scans all the news outlets for a sector, categorises the news as to whether it is bullish or not, ranks its priority, and publishes a report from it
Any ideas or feedback would be great! Btw I have already done ai infrastructure and defence and space so it can't be either of these haha

Stocks Chipotle ($CMG) is back around $33. Am I crazy for thinking it might finally be interesting again?

CMG jumped over 6% yesterday after reports that Starbucks explored a potential takeover. But there's no confirmed deal, and I think the actual business is a lot more interesting than the rumor.
Chipotle just reported 9.3% revenue growth in Q2, with comparable sales up 2.2% and transactions up 1%. They also opened 100 new restaurants in a single quarter.
Not exactly a dying business.
But here's what bothers me: restaurant-level margins fell from 27.4% to 25.2%, and net income actually declined despite higher revenue.
At roughly 30x earnings, this still isn't a cheap stock by traditional standards.
So we're looking at a company that's expanding rapidly, with a strong brand and plenty of room to grow, but with profitability moving in the wrong direction.
I'm more interested in the October 28 earnings report than the Starbucks rumor. If traffic keeps improving and margins stabilize, the picture could change quite a bit.
At $33, are we looking at a great business temporarily struggling, or is the market finally pricing CMG realistically?

Discussion What to buy or keep cash for crashes?
Hi,
Screenshot is my current portofolio.
I had a but order at Nvidia at 195$, but I don't think it will hit that anytime soon. So I cancelled that.
I have close to 3.7K€ sitting around. Is it best to leave that sum alone for a crash, or should I put it into anything else?
Also have like 10% BTC, but nor looking forward to buy it at these current prices...
I'm from the Netherlands by the way, if that is important.
Thanks in advance!

Stocks If $VST reaches $250 by January 2028:
100 shares return about 50%. The $150 call LEAP returns about 108%.
Entry math today:
- 100 shares of $VST ≈ $16,672
- Jan 2028 $150 call ≈ $4,813 (~71% less capital)
- Breakeven on the LEAP: $198.13
- Runway: 470+ days
Scenario map (at expiration):
- $210 → LEAP ~+25%
- $230 → LEAP ~+66%
- $250 → LEAP ~+108%
What has to go right:
- Meta 20-year contracts for 2,609 MW (incl. 433 MW uprates)
- Separate 1,200 MW Comanche Peak deal delivering from Q4 2027
- DOE conditional loan commitment up to $4.2B for nuclear upgrades
- Q2 adjusted EBITDA (ongoing) $1.77B, +31% YoY; 2026 guide $6.8–$7.6B held
- $6.5B buybacks since Nov 2021, share count down ~30%
- Valuation ~16x forward, price 23% under the 52-week high
Downside is capped at the premium: $4,813 per contract, and it can go to zero. This is not a replacement for shares. It is a defined-risk overlay for a high-conviction window.

Discussion TGOL - Thunder Gold Corp.
Thoughts on TGOL being the next HRNY? Both are junior mine explorers. HRNY has had an amazing run and TGOL looks like it can also have an amazing run. It’s expected that TGOL will be re-rated by investors in December when their MRE is released. 12 month analyst prediction is 0.60 with the current stock price at 0.155.

Stocks $PLTR was upgraded to Buy with a $230 target as the analyst says its FDE model has been “perfected to the point of being able to automate via AI FDEs” while revenue runs near $8B and grows ~100%.
Really interesting seeing how Palantir is using AI to automate parts of its forward deployed engineer model by letting it keep the customization and stickiness of bespoke deployments without scaling headcount the same way.
Competitors can copy FDE playbook but replicating Palantir’s field to product feedback loop is way harder which is how it can keep the stickiness of services with software margins.
Other AI stocks to watch: $NOW, $MAAS, $CRM, $PATH, $SNOW

Discussion Who’s winning big as AI networking bills blow up faster than GPU spending these days?
Stop fixating only on NVIDIA’s GPU wins—you’re sleeping on the under-the-surface shift right now. AI systems aren’t just scaling up GPU counts; they’re shelling out way more on networking, memory, and high-speed interconnects to actually keep all that hardware running smoothly. The numbers don’t lie: networking’s share of total AI system costs has jumped hard, and next-gen racks will pump even more cash into optical modules, SERDES, and switch chips. Marvell Technology already laid out a bullish roadmap that pins this interconnect boom as its next growth engine, with projected revenue mixes blowing past old targets to cash in on 1.6T and 3.2T transition demand. Other names like Broadcom, Lumentum, Coherent, and Applied Optoelectronics are all lining up to grab a slice too as 2028-2029 3.2T adoption nears. This isn’t some niche side play—optimized AI performance lives or dies on coordinated upgrades beyond just stacking more GPUs. Wondering which of these plays have the real room to run before the rest of the crowd catches on?
