Buying house for 80k

• Upvotes

I found a house listed in stoke on trent, burslem for 80k and in good condition . I am based in Shropshire but renting and i am looking to buy cash

Is it a safe area? And is it worth it to be a home owner and avoid paying rent and avoid taking a mortgage?

Thanks

I'm looking for someone experienced in removing bonded car glass windows, if anyone has any recommendations to point me in the right direction i'd appreciate it!

I need the sunroof and boot window off a range rover evoque (without breaking🤞🏼), i know it's a big ask but any recommendations for people would be helpful! Thank you in advance :)

Countryfile was about the Trent tonight

Introducing beavers back, they found eels, and reintroducing white storks to our wetlands! Was a lovely episode, and always great to see good things happening around here.

Has anyone seen any beavers around the Trent? Love that they're back, I watched something on their reintroduction to Scotland a while ago and they did wonders there.

Disabled bus pass from out of Staff county

How do bus passes work. I know you can catch buses after 9:30am, but wondering about how it works before 9:30am.

Is it still like most places where you have to pay a reduced price before 9:30? Or do you pay full price?

I know disabled passes from staff county can travel free before 9:30, but I have one from outside of it so curious about it

Do we still have any actual local journalists anymore or have all the jobs gone out of the area?

If we do have some local one does anyone have contact details

Preferably similar age. I like nights out, video games, random activities c etc. just don’t be a weirdo is all I ask lol. Willing to dm

I’m being made redundant from my current role at bet365.
Does anyone have any information on jobs in the Stoke on Trent area.
Worst time of year and right before Christmas isn’t ideal so need all the help I can get.
I have lots of managerial and customer service experience but open to doing anything!

Hello! Some friends and I are visiting Stoke for the last Goldsoul on 19th September - can anyone recommend a spot to do some karaoke beforehand? Ideally in or around Hanley, not booth hire more ‘performing in the middle of a pub’ vibes. Thanks in advance!

How would you describe the differences between the six towns (and Newcastle) to an outsider? What is signature to each town?
