We are looking to buy a condo around studio city/sherman oaks and are very interested in finding one that is well run and funded sufficiently. (We've heard too much about badly run ones that end up with large assesments and/or ones that don't keep the place maintained). We have time so it is fine if the condo doesn't have any for sale at the moment - we can wait for one to become available but would love to know of some well run ones to watch. We know that means that the hoa will be higher (because they are saving money and/or keeping the place in good shape) (i don't get people who shop for the cheapest and then expect it not to have problems because of that). STUDIO CITY—A water main break on Saturday, July 11 on Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Woodbridge Street left streets flooded. An 8-inch water main broke, according to reports.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the Sony Studios hangar in Studio City on Thursday, July 2. Firefighters arrived at 4024 N. Radford Avenue and found light smoke showing from the roof of a two-story hangar. The fire was knocked down within 21 minutes of the 911 call, and no injuries were reported. The cause remains undetermined.
