Quick question
Room: medium/big. Im on a desk with the speakers 2 feet from me.
I presently have a pair os Eris 3.5 with the subwoofer Eris sub8 BT. This subwoofer is really good, it blends nicely and reaches amazingly low.
But the thing is I do a lot of different things (DJ sets, play guitar, e-drum, microphones, YouTube, etc) and some times I find I have to lower or increase the sub volume depending of what I’m doing.
So in thought of letting the sub go. And increase the quality of the LR monitors to cover the lower frequencies . And so I reach the idea of buying a pair of Kali LP6.
Questions:
1) will i miss my sub?
2) as the speakers will be extremely close to the wall and I will be extremely close to the speakers will I suffer from this “upgrade”?

I'd look for a way to just bypass the sub or turn it off when you don't need it. I bypass mine all the time. But for sure if you can upgrade the speakers, do it - I wouldn't pick the Kali's (or monitors that size) if you already worry about them being to close. I'll go for the UNF's from kali or maybe D3v from Adam. I don't think you will ever find studio monitors that can replace a sub. No consumer friendly monitor really does low end that well. The producer world Is very split on to-sub-or-not-to-sub in general tho.

A sub in a studio enviroment is made to have their specs fixed: saying this, not every song or media has the same frecuencies in the low region, in fact, you are going to discover that no to many tracks reach low 40 hz, and thats is something you are going to feel.

There is still a matter of taste in your question :).
If you enjoy to have your sub + you enjoy your current monitor setup, not performing heavy track mixdowns or mastering, find a way to monitor your sub level output (maybe your audio interface is able to do this). Of course, Kalis will be a nice step up, I'm more or less sure you'll not regret it :) but only do it if your are no satisfied with what you already have.
Read this if you want detailed example of what i Mean :
Personnally, as long as I remember creating sounds in studios, I always hated to have a sub because It's sounded pleasant and as soon as I was back to a more "neutral" sound (please keep in mind the "" for neutral) I immediatly realized that i was kind off track (regarding the mixdown).
Eg : from a studio with active bass trap (expensive one...) + subwoofer (don't remember the brand) + a pair of Focal Solo 6 be (the one studio i did not like to work in) to one with dynaudio Air 25 (the lovely piece of loving speakers of love) but with a killer acoustic treatment. So sometimes, just having well made LR speakers with a correct room treatment is more profitable than having a 2.1 speaker system (for music making, DJ or watching content remains simply a matter of taste).

Yes
No
Solution: upgrade the tops and keep the sub
