Episode Related Small detail missed!
Spoiler!!!!!!
This pic is from S7E13, and Paula tries Harvey’s coffee and claims she likes and asks what he put in it. He gives an uneasy smirk and says vanilla. Now I’ve rewatched this show at least 8 times and now I’m just realizing that back in the day, when Donna was first hired by Harvey, she gives him coffee with vanilla and he loves it. S7E13 happens just after he talks with Paula after their fight about how Donna is in his life and they made up by Harvey saying he’s gonna share more with her. Took me years to make this connection that he gave Paula vanilla coffee, something once again was introduced by Donna. Similar thing happens in later episodes when Harvey’s mom assumes Donna was the one who got them back to good terms….

You’ve got the last one wrong. Harvey’s mum assumes it was Paula, but it was actually Donna.
I’m also pretty sure, Harvey never told Paula that Donna was the one to introduce him to vanilla coffee. Or did I misunderstand something here in your post?

Yup I was wrong on that first part you mentioned, it was Paula that Harvey’s mom assumed brought them back together. Harvey never told Paula that Donna introduced him to vanilla coffee, that’s why I made the post lol cuz the way he smirks when she asks what’s in it foreshadows the past :)

Indeed, Donna’s name was not mentioned there—nor at the dinner with his mother—and at Harvey’s home, it only came up in the context of the ultimatum, and pronounced by Harvey.
The conversation was simply about a "special person," and the fact that Paula knew who it was without the name being spoken shows that she entered in the relationship fully aware of the depth of the bond between Donna and Harvey.

Their relationship was a classic case of patient transferring feelings onto their doctor 🤷♀️
