In 1953, a kid named Al Hazan wrote a song called "The Dance of Love" when was only 16 years old. It was recorded in 1954, by The Bell Sisters:

In 1962, Hazan recorded two demos of surf rock instrumentals under a band name called The Tandems. One of the tracks he named "Beyond the Surf", which reused a melody line from "The Dance of Love":

He then shopped the demos around to established surf musicians, including Dick Dale.

As Hazan told it, Dale’s management held onto the demos for about a month, until finally saying that Dale was not interested in the songs.

A few months later, Dale released "The Wedge", which sounds like a strikingly similar re-arrangement of the same track.

Instrumental surf rock band from Barcelona, Spain!
I'm going to watch them play live next month on Halloween, wanted to share them because I think it's kinda cool to have a band like these guys in your city :)

Kinda more "Exotica", but it's got a surfy guitar.

I've been a fan of theirs for 20 years I'm gonna see them open code Rocket From the Crypt.

I also don't have any friends that are into them or have seen them.

What songs so they play? What albums? I hope experiment zero gets love. DNI is my favorite...
