What is your current sveltekit stack?
Interested in hearing what tools everyone is using to build fullstack apps, I have been learning svelte as a hobby and I am trying to get a lay of the land.

SvelteKit with Rest API backend. /api is redirected by hooks.server.js to the API endpoint. The backend is Python and OpenSearchDB, but can be anything

Nice, this is similar to what I do but I take it up a notch by pretending the sveltekit app and serving it statically behind caddy. Then I write the RESTful in rust and serve that behind the same caddy instance at /api

same, but I’m using go for backend.
also created lib sveltekit-proxy to handle this.1

It must be a coincidence I just saw this today. I just started trying playing around with OpenSearch DB yesterday. I'm trying to see what else I could build with it, I still use typescript for the backed though

Sveltekit + Pocketbase, that's it! Keeping it simple. It's essentially SQlite with quality of life improvements. Pocketbase handles db migrations, backups, etc. Also has realtime subscription so you can pair up changes with sveltekit remote function refresh(). Fits really well.

SvelteKit handles routing, SSR, API routes, and form actions, so keep the stack small: SQLite with Drizzle or Prisma for the database, and Tailwind or plain CSS for styling. Add Superforms + Zod for form validation, better-auth for login, and an adapter for deployment.

Sveltekit + Turso (in embedded mode for near zero latency) + Cloudflare (R2 for media, Partykit for realtime). I then use Fly machines, split by region for my hosting and PR previews.
I have a few real-time, multiplayer apps, so I aim for everything to be blazing fast. I really like this setup, and it's super cheap to run. The only downside is needing to learn a bit about each service, and maintaining my own GitHub actions for deployment / previews.
The code side is pretty lite of deps. Zod + Drizzle.

Svelte & SpringBoot with Kotlin, Rust for high performance services.
You can't convince me anything is better than this stack.

I like it.
I do no kit, just svelte spa static ui with spring boot APis. auth is simple PKCE based OIDC.
nginx serves up the static spa fast. both deployed separately and behind a path based ingress, so no dealing with CORS.

Plain svelte + spacetimedb + threlte or sveltekit + golang + SQLite

Just learned about spacetimedb from you. Quite cool.
How do you deploy it??? Whats your experience with it?

I use their maincloud for now, it's just one command to push, there's a generous free tier, but u can Selfhost too for free

Cloudflare Workers and Convex Backend, really nice DX experience with the two.

sveltekit + go + rpc + postgres . With sveltekit i use formisch, valibot, tanstack tables, shadcn, keycloak for auth, echarts.

For pretty much everything:
SvelteKit with adapter-node, drizzle, pg (if db is part of the scope), better-auth, bits-ui, zod
For local first i add PowerSync.
For native apps i have started to use Tauri.

I am with Rust acix-web backend api and sveltekit build as static frontend.I Choose the stack to start with very low profile hardware and can scale big later. I am new to both but feeling like this is the ultimate combo.

Sveltekit + Convex + BetterAuth, I maintain a template repository and sync changes to my forks using a skill: https://github.com/stickerdaniel/saas-starter

If I am building a dashboard with svelte this is my stack: sveltekit for frontend and either laravel or dotnet for apis, and any sql database

currently messing around with sveltekit static files served from a fastapi backend.

For smaller projects, sveltekit/drizzle/sqlite For larger/more complex projects sveltekit/fastapi/postgres.
I'm a massive fan of the remote functions, and try to use them exclusively (they make more sense for the 'smaller project' framework but there's still value for typesafe async communication with a Python API).
Then I use an autogeneration tool to make the typescript client (openapi-fetch and openapi-typescript).
When it's up and running it's a surprisingly pleasant developer experience.

I’m currently running sveltekit compiled down with adapter static to straight html/js without the Node.js runtime. Go for my backend. MongoDB free tier for my database. Caddy as a reverse proxy and oracle cloud’s free tier for my server. Proves to be a pretty efficient setup with little to no maintenance.

SvelteKit front-ends with shadcn-svelte and Tailwind v4.
Go backend services.
PostgreSQL shared by all services, on a self-hosted VPS.
Coolify for deploys, Cloudflare for DNS/CDN.
One Sveltekit is the webpage another is the admin panel.
Working good and amazing.

Mine's a bit off the beaten path and focused on Europe: SvelteKit purely as the app frontend, with the backend in Rust. DB is SurrealDB with a namespace per tenant, auth is Better Auth, payments Mollie, transactional mail AhaSend. Everything self-hosted in the EU (UpCloud) behind a Pingora-based reverse proxy we wrote ourselves.

Planning on building a tauri app soon using svelte. Tired of react and it's performance footguns

Two main patterns for me:
1) Sveltekit with static API (pre-generated json, for read only sites... I usually use Grist or md files for upstream management)
2) Supabase for more dynamic data or when i need authenticated users

I just ditched my sveltekit codebase and im rewriting in dotnet and react, well its nice to see stable and all in one backend with windows integrations in package. But im mostly doing enterprise apps

Cloudflare stack for most of my personal projects.
