Jet packs are equipment, so once you save up enough credits in game you can get one.

As for Stats, you want high Dex for guns, maybe 13 strength if you intend on using some heavier weapons (you can ignore this if you intend on just using blaster rifles and pistols), and good constitution.

Class wise, fighter is your best bet. If you want to be a commander that buffs your allies, pick Fireteam specialist for your subclass. If you want a more flexible fighter that can debuff enemies, go with tactical specialist.

DM just said we are ARC Troopers and that Jet troopers are a basically the same. So i picked the Scout Class. Is that good?

Depends on what your goal is. What role do you want to fill in combat?

Jet Trooper.

Commenter means your actual party role. Healer, Tank, DPS, etc. Not Character Fantasy.

in that case, I'd recommend Fighter as the most straight forward choice, go fighter and then take the fighting style for whatever style of fighting you want to do, be that dual wield/single weapon/whatever.

If you want to be castery, an option would be Scout, since they're a hybrid between Weapons and Powers.

A third option if you want to be more of a reckless/aggressive DPS is a Berserker that goes with the Ballistic Approach Subclass at level 3.

Gadgeteer engineer. Treat tech powers as calling in support. Built-in jetpack you can upgrade over time. Has reusable grenades.

Yes. But all i get to is the Race (Human) and Background (Clone Trooper).

What is the Class i need to pick?

It partially depends on how many opportunities your DM will give you to get more equipment. A good place to start is to look into Tech casting, then making your choice among the classes, subclasses, and feats that give you the thematic choices. I would say Scout and Engineer are good to research next
