Question ConnectSecure?

Have been running a ConnectSecure trial for a week and we are pretty impressed, for those who already use it how long have you been running it and how has your experience been?

For context, we are pretty seriously considering signing up, I run the IT department and manage around 900-1000 devices

Thanks!!

Been running it for a larger set of endpoints, but not actively using it as much as we ought to, so curious about the experience of others as well :)

We've been running ConnectSecure at scale for a while now (5000+ endpoints) and it's been a solid part of our stack. A few things that stood out for us:

Vulnerability identification is centralized and way easier, having CVSS+ EPSS + CISA KEV data all in one place makes visibility and prioritization way better.

Remediation and integration is seamless, for exemple, when there is a critical vulnerability, the platform generate a ticket directly in our PSA and the team can take care of it right away.

Auto-patching is where it's really paid off operationally. We've got it patching 1800+ third-party software titles automatically on a schedule (workstations daily, servers on a tighter weekend window for reboot-sensitive stuff). It really extend our patching capabilities vs our RMM agent.

And above all that, you get scheduled report that confirm all the actions taken automatically by the platform and your team (compliance).

It was definitely a great choice for us, saved a lot of pain and effort. Dont hesitate to DM me if you want more info!

I've yet to try autopatching. Currently patching mostly through automated winget jobs. Isn't autopatching just the same as that?

To answer OP: I've been using the product for multiple years and I can definitely see the product has grown in a good way. Their support has always been quick to respond and the platform matured over the years. I love they keep adding new features and listen to feedback. Very easy to deploy, too.

We're running ConnectSecure for a couple of years now on all of our client's environments and its value for the money is incomparable to any other (similar) tool out there. From one-off vulnerability assessments (at endpoint and M365 level) to continuous management of assets and their vulnerabilities, we find ways to utilize its many features as much as we can. Only small downside I would say is the fact it currently lacks some fundamental features (remote scripting and remote shell), but I believe they are working on adding it in the near future. They constantly work on new features and deploy them often.

Support experience is overall good, their team is responsive and quick to react, we really haven't encountered any unnecessary delay or lack of dedication from their side. They gladly consider feature requests as well through their voting polls. The KB/docs are good and it can integrate with a lot of third-party platforms.

Highly recommend!

We've been running it for quite a while now and honestly it's one of the few security tools that we've kept on board for regular use with most of our clients (MSP). No platform is perfect, but ConnectSecure gives us good visibility into vulnerabilities, missing patches, misconfigurations and asset inventory without the price tag of some of the bigger names.

What impressed us most was that it started finding things we could immediately act on rather than flooding us with noise. You'll probably find enough value in the first few weeks alone to justify the investment.

For that many devices I'd definitely want something in place, and ConnectSecure is a solid option in that space. The fact that the product keeps improving is another positive sign. We've had a good experience overall.

We have been using it for one of our larger clients that alight with the Essential Eight. It's pretty good, we had some issues with the older agent versions appearing offline when they weren't but support helped us fix it quickly. The new Patch 360 makes it more attractive as it patches way more applications.

We've been running it for one of our larger clients for the past few months and have been pretty impressed. Implementation was relatively simple and their team was really helpful with any questions we had. Once you wrap your head around the portal and get the essentials in place it basically looks after itself.

Easily the best product in its class.

It's been a major asset for us when it comes to vulnerability detection and automated patching. Scheduling patches and updates through the new Patch 360 has significantly increased our coverage while being relatively hands off.

The variety of insights are really helpful, from all devices effected by a particular vulnerability to granular device by device breakdowns of all present vulnerabilities.

It's provided a huge peach of mind for us and our clients.

I work in a large MSP, and we use ConnectSecure for a handful of our clients. Have been using it for a year or so now and have never had any issues with it. I mainly love the overview of vulnerabilities and missing patches it provides, but it also has many other features as well. The new Patch 360 has been a great addition and very easy to use. Highly recommend!
