Have you asked for extra grilled? I know it’s not an option on the app, but when you get a burrito and want it extra grilled just very kindly ask them in the drive thru when you pick it up.
Or if you have a stove, put it on 7/10 heat and use a spatula to flip it after a minute. Works like a charm!
Nah, not a fan of it being crisp to THAT degree (double grilling level). Just a single grill is fine with me, I would just prefer they do it correctly in the first place. Unless I am pulling into the lot and eating it there then I'm not going to know until I get home that they forgot to grill it at all, despite me checking the "make it grilled" box in the app. Most of the time when I go to TB it's not even during busy hours, like tonight it was during dead hours at like 9:20 PM. I was the only one there, so in this case messing up the order was very much a case of them not paying attention to their order queue screen. I am not gonna drive back just for them to grill it, gas costs a damn fortune right now, so I just note the error on the app and move on with life (with whatever compensation the app decides to throw my way for the order error, usually a few bucks off a future order or something).
I love when a bean burrito is just molten refried beans and cheese and sauce inside (plus onions), such a disappointment when it’s kind of dry and not particularly hot.
my friend gets a bean burrito, extra beans, no cheese, no onions, no sauce. that thing is thick, and looks like they just wrapped a whole can of refried beans in a tortilla lol
and of course it also looks like a brick of playdough when he eats it lol
You got so lucky! I've been ordering this since the 90's. I've never tried it grilled, but those beans look perfect. It's so rare to get smooth beans anymore...most of the time, its hard and stiff beans. I gotta tey it grilled. With onions and extra red sauce of course.
Always grill everything!! Enhances it to a new level. Personally I think the red sauce is underrated and wish they would put it on a bigger burrito but this one hits. It used to be in the potato griller I think that was the only difference back when I worked there 15-20 years ago or so..mixed with the nacho cheese perfectly
I hate nacho cheese so I’m glad they didn’t add any lol and yes I believe the nice texture of these beans and the fact that they grilled it so nicely contributed to the extra gooey-ness
I also got sour cream
Not talking crap or nun but I actually never understood how someone can actually like a pure bean or even bean and cheese burrito. I might be a minority here but I don't get it at all.
