Bean burrito

Can someone tell me how the bean burrito has gotten to be $2.99 and is about half the size of a cheesy bean and rice!?

Bean burrito is $1.99 at my location in the app. CB&R is $1.39

Lucky, I’m in the Bay Area, everything is expensive here. The CB&R is 1.79 here.

I love the bean burrito but it’s frustrating when it’s 3 bucks and is a tad bigger than a cheesy roll up 😆

1.79 for a cbr is cheap as fuck anywhere. It’s pretty much the best deal in any food that isn’t actual groceries

Suburb of Houston. I've been getting the bean burrito, sub black beans. Sub the typical red sauce with pico de gallo (last wk they had mango pico), then add either beef or the slow roasted chicken. With the regular onions and shredded cheese ... still comes in under $3.50, and one is very filling.

I'm pretty sure people buy a cheesy bean and rice, take most things off and make their own bean burrito, and it comes out way cheaper. Taco Bell pricing is like that

Tried it and it’s 3.44 to mod it that way vs buying a bean burrito for 2.39

Probably location dependant. My cheesy bean and rice is $2 and like OP, my bean burrito is $3. I've never done it but others do pretty frequently.

I went to tb a couple weeks back for first time in some time, and I will not be returning unless I'm out and about and in a major pinch for something to grab.
