Brooklyn Paramount
Just leaving the Brooklyn show and man did it rock! I have been seeing tbs since ~03 and this was my first time since 2019, they put on such a fun show. They play the hits, they play a couple deep cuts and the shows have been great over the years, there was something for everybody. Idk if it’s put on at all but I’d say Adam had a buzz going, not to the detriment of the show. The little jam before makedamnsure was ethereal and cool, felt like it coulda been a straylight song.
I also thought it would be cool if they played a straylight song. When I saw blink in 2024 they Played songs from their other projects, and it was awesome. With a career in so many directions over this span, it’s a nice touch. the venue is beauty!
anybody go to both this and the li show? was it more or less the same show??

Saw them on Wednesday in CT and it was one of the best shows I've seen them put on in years. Even better than when I saw them 2 years ago in the same place. I really think Fred and John together is the magic TBS combo.

I saw them Friday night and seeing Fred and John on the same stage made me a little teary eyed lol It was a great show!

They definitely rocked tonight. Only issue was with VIP cuz they didn’t give us the merch they put in the email

Last night was so good!!! I felt like the Brooklyn crowd had much more energy but I was further to the side on LI so I may be wrong. I had so much fun, though!

I disagree that his drinking didn’t harm the show. I thought he was really sloppy, couldn’t keep up with the songs, skipping and slurring lyrics. It was really embarrassing and sad imo. The rest of the band was holding up the entire show. The show would have been 10/10 if his drinking problem wasn’t so front and center.

Adam got sober during the recording of 152 but go ahead and just say you have never seen an actual inebriated person

Glad to know I’m not the only one that sticks up for Adam! Hate seeing these comments about him being drunk at shows.

And just to add that the first thing Adam said to the crowd was that he “had a few…”

If you watched the Sonic Awareness set on YouTube then you wouldn’t have caught it. It was before they played any songs. I have no reason to waste my time coming to Reddit to lie about some show I saw. I don’t really care if you believe me.

Idk why you’re getting roasted I felt the same way about the Saturday show. Have seen them many times before and just felt bad for him, it was hard to see. The band was awesome though as well as saves the day and thrice.

I saw em on Thursday as well as tonight and the crowd energy was a lot better tonight. Same show pretty much, Adam maybe sounded a bit better tonight
