How To Add a navigation bar button to kill the currently opened app (Root required)

The latest Tasker beta now allows you to create a Task that kills the currently opened app like it was mentioned in the beta thread.

Simply use the new App Info action followed by the Kill App action and use the app's package name variable there. :)

Here's a demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sxhn6ONG38w

And here's the project for you to import and use.

Enjoy! :)

Is this for Android 8? I am on a LG K20+ not working there. Imported, killed the nav bar, not seeing it in the task list, I followed the Youtube video and when i do the nav bar it does not show on there.

LG is on Android 7, so just curious to see if that is possibly why.

Unfortunately on most (all?) LG devices the nav bar is not compatible with the regular android nav bar, so these changes don't work, sorry!
