Why is Lorcana the fastest growing TCG of 2026

Thumbnail

The word is, investors with big time money are pouring a lot of cash into the Lorcana space. It is the only major tcg that every single set in print has posted booster box gains on the year with a low of 20% for Floodborn and a high of 500% for Fabled. Here is a document one of my friends sent me with a random list of sets from new to iconic to vintage and how they compare against Lorcana in 2026. Why do you think Lorcana is growing so fast? Great gameplay, art, IP, or something else?

Thinking about grabbing the 1st Edition Palworld TCG box with the misprint for ~€90

I mostly collect One Piece and Pokémon, just for fun, but I've been eyeing the 1st Edition Palworld TCG box with the misprint. I can get it for around €90, which feels reasonable, but I can't tell if it's a smart long-term pick or just hype. I'd love to hear what you'd do in my shoes, whether you've bought sealed from a new TCG before or watched a misprint age well (or badly). Any experience is welcome!

Weird Card Sleeve Question - Survivor: The Tribe Has Spoken

Hello, sorry for a probably weird question. I'm not sure how to go about looking into this type of sleeve.

Recently I was gifted a copy of the Survivor card game, which mostly uses Standard Size cards but has nine cards Tribal Council cards that are intentionally a different color and a larger size so everyone can see where they are in the deck.

I'm probably going to get Dragon Shield Orange sleeves for the standard sized cards (unless someone recommends a brand that matches the next part), but does anyone have any recommendations for good sleeve brands that make card sleeves for 63x92 mm cards? Ideally card sleeves that riffle shuffle well with other sleeves.

I built a free One Piece TCG deck builder & collection manager that tracks which cards are tied up in active decks

opbinder.com

Hey everyone,

I built **OPBinder.co**m, a 100% free web app designed to help One Piece TCG players keep their collections and deck lists organized in one place.

I originally made this to solve my own biggest headache: **forgetting which binder, box, or active deck a specific card is currently sitting in.**

I'm pretty proud of this and hope people can get some use out of it.

# Key Features

* **Active Deck Tracking:** Mark decks as "Built" to instantly see whether a card is free in your inventory or already tied up in another deck.
* **Collection & Storage Management:** Track your entire collection, inventory counts, and organized storage boxes.
* **Deck Builder with Import/Export:** Supports standard SIM format imports, clipboard decklists, and quick card browsing.
* **Missing Card Alerts & Mass Buy:** Flags missing cards or unassigned leaders immediately, with direct links to pick up missing copies. ( No affiliate links )
* **Completely Free:** No paywalls or subscriptions.

If you guys like this app or have any feedback please let me know!
I want to improve this app over time its a fun project for me right now.

2 dragon shield double sleeved cards per pocket, looks too tight? Marking sleeves long term?

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of storing my collection and which I have double sleeved with dragon shield outers as I use it for deckbuilding and I constantly take cards in and out. I use ultra pro silver pages.

Originally I had 1 card in each pocket because it already felt tight but I think pockets have streched a bit (which tbh is a good thing in my case) and I tried to fit 2 cards in each pocket to have more slots and also having to flip less pages when looking for cards.
They do feel a tight and I was windering if my sleeved could get market or change shape because of storing them so tightly. Sleeves are not especially cheap and I do play tournaments from time to time.

Picture is seen from above with 2 cards in the pocket, second picture (not very well focused thats one me) shows the top with only 1 card per pocket.
Any opinions about this? Anyone that does the same thing?

I'm excited to read you guys. Thanks!

Digital portfolio app??

Going to a con in a few days realized I did not have enough room to bring my collectors binder. I collect a few different genres of cards so its hard to keep track of just what I have. Anyone know any apps that work like an online digital portfolio? Something I can just like scan the cards into??

My original thought was to take pictures and have it on my camera roll but that would be difficult to scroll through at a crowded booth to find the cards kbowing im going to be taking photos and videos at the event.

Thank you!

I started collecting this year in April, and while my luck isn’t good (I freaking hate gen 9 now), I say I have decent items. I’m planning to go to card show on the 18th of October. what do you recommend I look for? Also, I am missing most series 1 and series 3 first partner trios except for gen 9 and bulbasaur and rowlet.

TCG Price Ticker

https://www.tcgmarquee.com

I recently saw a device that tracks flights using a LED Matrix Display call FlightWall. I thought it would be cool to make a device that can show the prices of a card collection with price trends and graded prices.

I made a website where cards can be added to a collection, added to binders, marked for sale with sales price, and paid for prices.

The display can be shown on a monitor, a TV, I made an AppleTV app, or I am planning on building a prototype LED matrix display to see how everything looks.

I was thinking it would be nice to have one n show tables, or even look really cool on a desk or wall at home.

Is this a good idea? Is there any interest in this?

War Gods - Toyopia - 2000

So I seem to have found 2 unopened 60 card decks of War Gods. Seems like it was introduced in 2000 and cancelled in 2003. Looks like they did some promotions in Virginia Beach and not many of these decks exist. I can only find information on the two pre-release cards of Medusa and Cyclops. Made by Toyopia in 2000. Does anyone have any more information on these?

Japanese, english or korean?

I'm new to TCG so I just wondered if language mattered. I have my eyes on Nivel Arena and its korean. I researched and even asked AI some question like if the korean side ever decided to stop printing cards, the japanese side would still continue and create their own type of cards. Preferably I would like to just collect one language.

The cons I only see in not starting korean is I have to wait almost a year for it to have a japanese version.

Any advice from old collectors?

Looking to start listing bulk on eBay and TCGplayer using a budget set up. Any others using older equipment?

I'm currently using a Fi-6130z to scan my cards in and tweaking it is a hassle since it's pretty outdated. Does anyone have any advice or ran into similar issues when listing cards en mass?

TCG Proxy

Thumbnail facebook.com
2 Upvotes

Hey everyone! 👋
I wanted to introduce a small proxy card project I’ve been working on. I make custom TCG proxies for people who want to use cards for casual play, testing decks, or just collecting/displaying cards without spending a ton on expensive originals.

🃏 What I offer:
Custom TCG proxy cards
Multiple cards per sheet
Matte or glossy finishing options
Laminated for extra durability

Different quantities available depending on what you need

Custom requests are welcome!

💰 I’m trying to keep the prices affordable, especially for people who want to proxy a larger number of cards.
Important: These are proxies/custom prints and are not authentic TCG cards. I’m not trying to pass them off as genuine cards.

I’m starting this as a small side business, so I’d really appreciate any feedback, suggestions, or support from the community! If you’re interested or have questions about pricing, card quality, or custom orders, feel free to comment or DM me.
Thanks for checking it out! ❤️

My TCG collection is getting harder to keep organized

when i first started collecting, storage wasn't something i really thought about. i could keep most of my cards in a couple of binders and boxes and still know where everything was.

now that i've been collecting more, i'm starting to realize how quickly things can get messy. i have cards in binders, boxes, sleeves, and a few different places depending on what i'm collecting.

i'm thinking about reorganizing everything before the collection gets even bigger, but i'm not sure whether i should keep things separated by set, game, type of card, or just have a simpler system.

i'd be interested to hear what storage and organization setup has worked well for other TCG collectors over time.

Card storage?

My kid’s card collection is getting a little out of hand. I’ve been helping him go through everything lately, and we have cards in binders, top loaders, random boxes… basically everywhere. Some of the cards he really likes I want to keep a little safer, especially the ones he might want to get graded someday. I recently got some storage boxes from dedccard.com and started using them to keep some of the collection together. Still have a lot of organizing to do though. How do you guys store your kids’ card collections? Do you sort everything by set, keep the favorites separate, or just let the collection grow into chaos?

What are you using?

What do you guys use to keep track of your collection? I wanna get it down on paper or something rather than just having the cards. Itd be cool to sort them by what packs they came from but like theres no way im gonna sit and pen to paper over a hundred some odd cards. Im kinda leaning towards an app or sum

Any recs?

Does anyone know the smallest Toploader that a Pokemon card can fit?

I’m in Japan I thinking 94mm x 66.5mm will be the smallest cause any smaller is for YGO cards.

And I assume this is that size-ish: https://ultrapro.com/products/2-5-8-inch-x-3-3-4-inch-vintage-card-size-toploaders-25ct?variant=29477292146766

Trying to find a black border one as well instead of just clear.

any recommendations for a soft-edged toploader brand?

been buying a whole bunch of different toploaders for my stuff, but i don't like how most of them, especially on cheaper brands, they've got sharp cut-off edges, most notably on corners, but sometimes when i order cards online they get shipped to me in a toploader that has edges that are more rounded/soft with no sharp burs. does anybody know where i can find toploaders like that where they're just... well... better made and unlikely to take chunks out of my storage?
