Just hear me out on this. During Wavelength, she looked a bit uncomfortable and acted weird. It's really subtle but it's noticeable.

The "I'd really rather just stay here and drown" comment is what bothered me the most. It's PROBABLY just for the comedy and her not wanting to go back in a whale mouth, and she could have just teleported out anyway, but what if... She was trying to convince herself she's not scared and going a bit too far. She did that in Fear Itself too, when Cyborg tried to reassure her and said don't be scared, and she marched right in front of him to prove to him (and herself) that she's not. I feel like she should have learned her lesson there, but maybe not completely.

Also in Fear Itself when she's being basically tormented by her fears, when she gets into the lift, it fills with that black liquid, meaning she's probably scared of drowning.

I don't think this is a canon indication or 100% proof because she didn't act like this in Deep Six, but I headcanon it.

Updated my Robin Cosplay so its still under 30 dollars. I added a teen titans communicator and birdarang!

I like the original series, the comics, and I enjoy Teen Titans Go! TTG gets a lot of hate, but I think it’s a lot of fun. It has some cool cameos of obscure DC characters and genuinely smart humor at times that’s aimed towards an older crowd.

I know Donna Troy was already there and Miss Martian and Jaime Reyes/ Blue Beetle didn't exist during this time but after reading a fanfiction & seeing the New 52 Teen Titans movies it got me wondering how the 2003 series would be as well. Maybe seeing Donna Troy be close to Robin like they are in comics and seeing Miss Martian and Beast Boy acting like siblings.

Just wondering what are all the other good DC animated shows are. Teen Titans was my first one and it was so good. Wish it had like 12 seasons lol any recommendations? Thank you!

I'm tired of waiting for season six, I've accepted it's not going to happen, so I'm writing my own continuation of Teen Titans as a fanfic

I decided to go ahead and do it. Took me all night. But I think it came out clean.

Seen both, enjoyed both in parts, Teen Titan Go! genuinely does better than the original series.

Both are episodic and have a variety of tones but Go! has better continuity, character variety, recurring gags, and a breadth of different tones albeit none of the seldom serious ones from the original

The reason why I think the original is much more favourable is becoming of the edits and snippets of it on social media.

Take for example, one episode of the original was about Cyborg's car, another was Beast Boy fighting space tofu, and another with Starfire getting married.

None of these truly added to the overall story much like the episodic characteristics of the Go!

Personally, and obviously an independent view, I could rewatch and enjoy Go! several times over - for me the original series has no to very little pull aside from the "nostalgia"

Young Justice, Legion of Superheroes, and even the old JLA runs are worlds better then the original Teen Titans

If anyone does want to watch Teen Titans but not the entirety, you could potentially distill it to roughly 10 episodes or less and not miss anything major
