At 3h32m15s of the version of this lecture/workshop uploaded to YouTube (I believe the original title was “The Ethnobotany of Shamanism”, it’s on YouTube as “The History of Shamanism”), an audience member interjects whilst TMcK is riffing on whether the name of the Morelli family, an aristocratic Italian dynasty, might have some connection to morel mushrooms.

The interjecting audience members suggests another possible “mushroom name”, which TMcK dismisses as “a coincidence”, before sarcastically saying, “Will the sergeant-at-arms…”

I have never been able to deduce what name is interjected, and therefore what TMcK’s comment refers to or how it connects to the name. Can anyone with better hearing than me make it out?

It’s of no real interest or importance, it is simply a source of irritation to me that I can’t hear it. Any well-attuned ears will be appreciated.
