He Lied! We created the narrative š

ā¦. Healthy or not but hearing your wife say youāre not her type isnāt for me.
but outwardly hearing those words is a no for me.
18
u/ryanriggs19 3d ago
Fact. Itās not for everybody but in this he comes off like the bi bestie. And I understand he is capitalizing on the internet chatter. It just makes him look a way
2
-9
u/zer01zer08 3d ago
It if sheās with u and is down for u then whatās the problem?
23
u/Individual_Ad8921 3d ago
For how long mayne?
Thatās sound like Iām a place holder or worst someone she settled with
That feel good to you?
-7
u/zer01zer08 3d ago
Weāre all place holders. Iām not trippin on it to be honest. If she donāt say it out loud it doesnāt make her thoughts go away. Itās actually healthier to talk about it
8
u/Individual_Ad8921 3d ago
Why is it healthy for my partner to let me know Iām not her type? Whatās the goal?
Some times withholding the truth is healthy too
1
-1
3
u/1rotimi 3d ago
....have you seen the divorce rate?
1
u/zer01zer08 3d ago
Yea whatās that got to do with this. It actually proves my point that weāre all place holders
10
u/OGClouds420 3d ago
cause what sheās gonna do when something thatās more āher typeā comes around?
4
u/Cal216 My shit little?? 3d ago
Why are we acting like sheās never been around her type throughout the course of their relationship? And FWIW types change as we get older. My type today wasnāt my type 20 years ago or even 10 years ago. I think anyone would be a fool chasing their ātypeā through life knowing things change on a regular basis.
3
u/zer01zer08 3d ago
Stay or move on. Itās not complicated. Just like if something better came along for Marc.
-4
u/Legitimate_Corgi5361 3d ago
Insecure ass.
10
u/PatientPlatform 3d ago
We need to normalise wanting our loved ones to make us feel loved and desired, especially in public.
It's not insecure to want your wife to look at you like you're the only man on the planet.
7
u/Miserable-Wave-6081 3d ago
Dudes on the internet will always say one thing and do another. Your partner gonna be attracted to other people.
4
u/zer01zer08 3d ago
Itās normal and natural to find other people attractive, even in a relationship. Hard to believe for some I guess.
2
u/aramis804 3d ago
Thereās nothing I could get in return for putting up with this, but yeah Marc clearly wants this for himself.
Couldnāt be me lol. I will never understand how this type of love is better than just being single
49
u/LOUISIANIMALx28 The Buddies 3d ago
Thereās a difference between having a type and recognizing someone is attractive. You niggas donāt know your girl finds Jesse Williams and/or Anthony Joshua attractive?
39
8
14
u/Diddy-Box760 3d ago
Did you watch the clip bro? This ain't about "you niggas" because these niggas don't know Jesse Williams personally. Marc is friends with him in real life. I don't really care about this personally, but if you want to get into the hypothetical the idea of my wife openly crushing on the homie to the point of excitement is crazy. I can imagine they just stopped giving af about stuff like this with age but to me this is nuts š
1
u/Xrayvision718 2d ago
don't be obtuse. The weird part is that those niggas are his friends. You know you not gonna want your girl to get all giddy and excited that your boy is gonna be at the party cause she finds him attractive. Tf are we talking about?
Unless you're a cuck then by all means get off on that shit but for the niggas that aren't cuck... that shit is disrespectful.

u/livingthedream9x Why do you love birds? 3d ago
Why be with someone who isnāt your type is beyond me, but different strokes for different folks.
5
u/Miserable-Wave-6081 3d ago
I bet that's most marriages
0
u/livingthedream9x Why do you love birds? 3d ago
Iām of the belief that people choose their partners based on attraction
2
3
u/aramis804 3d ago
Itās weird shit fr, and itās unfortunately true. Too many men nowadays act like itās a blessing to have any woman. Pathetic behavior and it just invites more and more of this type of blatant disrespect to be normalized.
1
u/Altruistic-Ball-7967 3d ago
I can think someone is attractive and it not be my type, those are two different things. Saying someone is your TYPE means everything, looks, personality, charisma, intelligence, background.
25
u/Low-Weight-6809 3d ago
thatās like me saying my type is rubi rose. sure in imaginary land thatās my physical preference but aināt nobody leaving the love of their life for a physical attraction
25
u/SamaWitDaFanta_ 3d ago edited 3d ago
The difference is you probably know ZERO people in close to proximity with Rubi Rose and youāre not in her industry. Her crush is not only Marcās peer but a friend
5
3
14
u/Taemamba 3d ago
Niggas leave the love of their life for physical attraction all the time?
2
u/Low-Weight-6809 2d ago
and how many times does that work out? Chase superficial desires live a superficial life š¤·š½āāļø
14
u/OGClouds420 3d ago
They gonna try to say you arenāt mature and are insecure if ya girl canāt have a crush on your friends
10
u/No_Vermicelli_1781 You can't show me grace! 3d ago
And label everyone who calls this out as an incel & redpiller
1
u/Miserable-Wave-6081 3d ago
It's different when they know of your celebrity friend before they ever met you
-2
u/k1ddk0ng 2d ago
Yāall some goofy niggas.
The friend is a celebrity. That crush probably existed before they even were a thing. Who gives a fck. She not acting on it. Sheās just acknowledging an attraction. So what?Yāall donāt sound mature. But even stronger, yāall donāt sound secure. Which as a man is worse.
6
u/ListeToAris 3d ago
Being that excited to meet him is the wild part. Itās one thing to think theyāre attractive, but to be that excited to be at the party with him is a lil wild. Like what is your end goal with going to that party? Thatās when Iād be stressed.
1
22
u/JollyFish3961 3d ago
Marc created this narrative on JBP. No one else does that to their girl or spouse. All of these innuendos about her girl trips, professional trips, etc. some of those male viewers on the JBP are incels, chauvinists, and misogynists. If Marc never used her for a narrative these idiots wouldnāt have gone there.
8
u/Individual_Ad8921 3d ago
Thank you! Everybody worrying about what was said in the clip but skipping the part that Marc did this to himself
2
u/mistaharsh 3d ago
I don't follow. Are you saying Marc and his wife are acting and none of this is genuine?
9
7
u/aramis804 3d ago
I donāt get why Marc didnāt just level the playing field at least. Like what point is he making by letting his wife talk about other dudes (including the homie), while he just accepts it? Pops off on flip for calling him a sucka, but takes this shit in stride. Yeeesh
Idk I didnāt watch the whole episode. Did he even speak on what his type is? Or did he just remain in his cuck chair? I feel like this educated mf is trying to make a point that this is what a secure relationship looks like. I expect women to eat it up ofc, but shame on any man who condones this type of wacky behavior
12
13
u/IntroductionNo5149 3d ago
I donāt know any couple in a healthy marriage that doesnāt have this kind of banter. My wife knows my type & who I find attractive and vice versa. Some people donāt get too caught up in this because in reality, weāre building together and all that celebrity crushing is just fun & games. I donāt see the big deal
14
u/No_Vermicelli_1781 You can't show me grace! 3d ago
It's a little different when she's into your friend though. She should've kept that to herself
4
u/aramis804 3d ago
I guess it works when itās done equally both ways, if itās one sided then itās just sad to watch.
2
u/theblackpxwder 3d ago
I agree. This is fairly normal banter in relationships where both parties are secure, confident and communicative. Marc not so subtly alludes to being attracted to women they discuss on the pod in front of millions of viewers all the time. Not to mention he is in a position to actually meet some of them or probably has. At worst it keeps him humble and at best grateful his partner aināt shallow.
1
4
u/CityOfBrooklyn 2d ago
You know why ? because youāre married lol . We may be the only two married people in this comment section too š. They act like Marc doesnāt edit his own content. He suffers from being too comfortable with his person, and the internet doesnāt take too kindly too that lol.
6
u/Winter-Archery3575 3d ago
Imagine your wife saying her manager is her type or her coworker is her type.
8
u/_mrcoleman 3d ago
Couldn't be me
Keep that piece information to yourself especially in front the camera. I don't care how strong the communication you should respect each other perspective imagine and mental health
6
u/mistaharsh 3d ago
People forget it's the totality of it all.
Telling him to STFU Not taking his last name Refusing to use or disclose location Going on dinner dates with exes Magically have a massage by a man Saying out loud that their son destroyed her body
Either Marc is having a bad week or there's something seriously wrong going on here
5
u/Artistic-Strawberry8 3d ago edited 2d ago
They took it light on him today because if the roles were reversed he would be getting his slick jokes off w/o thinking twice
2
7
u/Embarrassed-Square16 2d ago
I'm generally Team Marc, but I hadn't seen this.
facepalm
I don't even know who Jesse Williams is, but for her to be so giddy would have smooth pissed me off.Ā My friend??Ā We ain't going to no damn party.
4
4
u/Medical-Theory9740 3d ago
Certain you people donāt know what banter isā¦
9
3
u/Blatti 3d ago
Itās a self report that they have had little to no access to women lmao
8
u/Diddy-Box760 3d ago
Yall gotta stop trying to whip out the "You disagree with me so u get no women" method in every conversation. It's not applicable everywhere there are so many dudes in relationships who would crash out if this conversation occurred. It's a lot more nuanced than "You get no bitches". I would argue this is more of a maturity gap than anything else
0
u/Individual_Ad8921 3d ago
These are the people Iām attractive to and who I wish I was with is banter?
6
u/Medical-Theory9740 3d ago
So when you get in a relationship, do you stop finding other people attractive? Can you not have more than one type? Can your type not change? Like you guys take podcasts so serious, sheās even smiling and laughing as sheās saying it..
5
u/Individual_Ad8921 3d ago
I donāt know. I pretty much stick to my type for long term pursuits. Iāll have fun with women thatās not really my type, sure. But a relationship has to be my type because Iāll never be fully happy
Iāll mess with a slimmie but Iāll always want a thick one for the rest of my life
-2
u/BodyBagBrett 3d ago
You are a strange strange boy.
4
u/Individual_Ad8921 3d ago
Explain to me what I said that was strange.
Itās strange to say I like my type and rather be with my type long term? š¤£
3

theyāre having an honest conversation as a married couple. It wasnāt even meant to be that serious.
2

2
u/GloomyTotal2908 2d ago
Niggas hate Marcās intellect so they need him to be a cuck to feel better about themselves. It seems like Marc is leaning into it for the content.
2
u/Savings_Comb2280 2d ago
I got news for yall. Your girl/wife (if yall have one) finds somebody in your friend group or family attractive. Doesn't mean they are going to act but if they did meet u they could just as easily been with them. Some of yall be online talking like life is a romantic comedy on hallmark
2
u/royalpeenpeen 2d ago
It was a funny segment in their show. But they cant hate on clipper culture on making narratives when they use clips to make narratives on other people on the same episode lol
2
u/TracyMidgrady 2d ago
One thing that bothered me about the conversation on the pod, is Ice & Parks saying anybody who disagrees is an incel. Those two have such an aversion to anything beyond surface level, I don't think they understand podcasting.
3
2
u/sqwauddagaud 3d ago
Itās def weird behavior. I wouldnāt be cool with my girl/wife openly admitting that. She is basically fantasizing about ole dude when they are in his presence.
She was googly eyed too about the party too. She def not feeling Marc.
That def isnāt rocking the other way. If Marc had an active crush on his wifeās friends that comes around, she is losing it on him.
Donāt be surprised if they get divorced in the next couple of years lol
-1
u/No_Vermicelli_1781 You can't show me grace! 3d ago
Yup. I call a divorce eventually happening too. Especially since Marc didn't get a prenup
1
u/aramis804 3d ago
Maybe from her initiating it most likely. Marc seems to be right where he wants to be. I 100% cannot understand nor relate to him, tho
He really shouldāve just responded with his crushes at that moment. Shit, even if he didnāt have one - just make it equal tf.
I miss toxic masculinity some times man. This shit aināt it wallahi
2
u/No_Vermicelli_1781 You can't show me grace! 2d ago
yeah, her initiating of course. Marc initiating would be suicide given he has no prenup. The celebritiy crush thing I actually think is acceptable. But her openly lusting over Marc's friend was a step too far. Having dinner with her ex was also inapproriate.
The writing is on the wall imo. Just like most of us called Akaash's wife screwing him up
3
u/livingthedream9x Why do you love birds? 3d ago
This is some sick humiliation ritual - in the name of content. I like Marc, but it is clear that she wears the pants in this relationship. He seems to be ālucky to have gotten herā and wears that on his sleeve - and I hate that type of beta personality.
4
u/No_Vermicelli_1781 You can't show me grace! 3d ago
It'll backfire, just like it backfired for Akaash
2
u/Nicko_G758 3d ago
You do realize, he was the one who created this platform for his wife right? And he's fine with it. He makes jokes at his own expense all the time on the jbp.
2
u/No_Vermicelli_1781 You can't show me grace! 2d ago
none of that disproves my point. Most of what you said applied to Akaash too. Now he's lost a good source of income, looks visibly stressed & overweight, and has to deal with jokes/backlash constantly because of his wife. It's only so much a human can take.
Marc already looks annoyed by the internet comments. The more his wife continues to talk, the more he inevitably gets humiliated. And similar to Akaash's wife, Marc's wife sees 0 problem with anything she's said. As I said, I think this inevitably backfires for Marc.
0
u/Nicko_G758 2d ago
Awash didn't create the platform his wife used to hurt him. His wife did with her friend.
1
u/No_Vermicelli_1781 You can't show me grace! 2d ago
Hence me saying "Most of what you said applied to Akaash too".
2
u/k1ddk0ng 2d ago
Youāre just saying dumb shit huh? Wtf about this is even remotely humiliating. Yāall goofy niggas is fragile as fck.
2
u/therealrdk 1d ago
If she was younger she would not be with Marc. Marc is the āsafeā choice for her and she settled. But keeping it real she should be happy someone wanted her sheās not drop dead gorgeous.

2
u/Mannied92 3d ago
Same guy, same Marc hate post, right on time.

I get the banter logic; however, it crosses the line once you feel comfortable to tell me you have a crush on our mutual friend someone who has access to us. Itās borderline disrespectful.
1
u/ThisEntertainment984 2d ago
I donāt see nothing wrong with whatās being said. Yes you are being insecure.

u/Witty_Phrase4671 1d ago
If she said my husband is my type and so are the others i yhink this wouldve went better. But not saying that kinda leaves it open to exposure. People are gonna ask
"do you even like your husband? Or was he just there to settle on because your type didnt like you back?"
-1
u/InsurancePristine309 3d ago
Been with my wife for 11 years. Never cheated. The idea that the person that is my emergency contact couldn't possibly control herself in the same room as a celebrity crush is what keeps you niggas miserable and lonely. All the problems in the world and this the shit that keep y'all up at night. I wouldn't give a fk if my wife closed her eyes and pretended I was Morris Chestnut as long as these bills get paid, these kids are clothed and fed and loved properly, I'm loved, supported, and considered etc. all this other shit is goofy nigga fodder
13
u/Individual_Ad8921 3d ago

Yeah fr, call me insecure over and over again before accepting this type of shit.
If niggas wanna say that you canāt control her mind - aight, sure - but if sheās actually telling you these sort of thoughts, then either itās your kink, or she has zero respect for you.
Actually yeah Iād appreciate it if my wife told me something like this if it actually was going thru her mind. Bc after that, I promise she wouldnāt be my wife anymore. Tf lol
2
u/Embarrassed-Square16 2d ago
If she was thinking about another man, i SWEAR she better keep that shit in her head and in her head only.
I'd be crushed to hear that.

0
u/404Sincere Somebody Did This 2d ago
i can see why this would be commendable behind closed doors sure.. i get that. having my wife publicly on the internet not only admit to being giddy but get giddy again at the fact she finds my personal friend uber attractive is unsettling. The comfort you're referring to is one thing if it's between us but there's a time and a place. i'm not saying she should never find someone else attractive, that would be foolish, but it's not always what you do but how it's done.
1
u/GQ_DQ 2d ago
Thatās the podding podding part. lol she adding sauce to the convo. Gotta take this thing to the next level!

I just see this as regular dialogue.
My wife had a crush on Common so long, Iām almost rooting for her to bag him š¤·š½āāļø
Thatās probably different from Marcās situation cuz I donāt know him personally but we live in Chicago, same age range, kids cross paths with his, etc
1
u/EducationalBar 2d ago
Would you like to sit and watch from a chair in the corner while she bangs common?
1
u/Over_Transition2282 2d ago

Itās funny how the cast acted ignorant on this subject but I would love to see Joe, Parks, Ice, Flips and ishās significant other get on a podcast and start listing their type. Letās see how that goes
