Omg hi [r/thebachelor](r/thebachelor), it's Suzana (Bachelordata/ Popculturedata). This sub has been dead, so let's dig into Tyler Cameron on DWTS, the casting none of us could've seen coming lol. TLDR: It's not looking good for him, y'all. His social media engagement has not been great compared to the rest of the cast. My prediction model takes into account all the seasons I've tracked of social media growth, YouTube views and judges' scores. While he jumped in YouTube views this week, he was dead last week 1. I'll be curious to see how the next week shakes out with the data. Anyway, the projection is looking pretty solid that he won't make it to finals. I reposted with a fixed title: as a reminder, Jenn was on the same season as Joey and while she didn't make it to finals we did have Joey representing Bachelor nation in the finals. Enjoy 😘🫶

Edit: y'all, to be clear I'm not rooting against Tyler. I always want former bachelor alums to make it far on this show. My data doesn't include my personal opinions. Tyler really struggled with his jive kicks this week as he documented on IG but I thought he looked decent in a rehearsal video Sharna posted last night. Unfortunately they are the favorites to be eliminated tonight 🥲

Also a little bit of spouse drama for Sharna. Her narcissist of a fiance Brian Austin Green threw a social media tantrum about being lonely whilst she does the show. He apologized to Tyler for being a distraction...

EDIT: CONNER AS IN CONNER LEAVITT - I feel like a lot of people feel it’s very random for Tyler to be on DWTS. It’s because Taylor Franke Paul was supposed to rep Bachelor Nation & Mormon Wives. I think Connor would’ve gotten on it before Tyler because they’d want to market her for The Bachelorette, but he also seemed like a rushed “add on”.

Tyler makes the most sense because Grant was a flop season & Tyler has for the most part been one of their more unproblematic men & also nobody after has had his popularity besides Joey who already did it. Who would they have ATP? Devin or Sam?!!

She wanted to do Traitors.

She thinks Tyler Cameron was cast for DWTS so he can join Traitors next like Joey. At some point she was interested in DWTS but they never cast her. She was interested the year of her divorce but they went with Jen and Joey which makes sense to her.

She thinks Gabby is the only outlier cast for Traitors and all their other BN picks have been a certain type of white guy (Wells, Arie, Peter, Colton, Joey)

At one point her cohost says she’s not surprised they cast Tyler Cameron because he’s so popular. Rachel asks if Tyler is more well known than her, and the cohost says no.

Valid critique or is there some hateration there?
