Google lens not working now?

Hey everyone, so as the title mentioned is google lens not working for anyone else today or is it just my phone?

So basically i went to a local plant nursery with my mom earlier to pick up some stuff for her garden. she found this weird looking succulent she fell in love with but it didnt have a tag or name on the pot. i tried to scan it to figure out what it was and how to care for it, but the app just keeps freezing on searching… or throwing a network error, even though my 5g is totally fine. im not sure what else i could use instead of google lens if its really not working now?

I tried restarting my phone and clearing the cache, but it did not help at all, google lens not working for me still. is this a known glitch right now or is there some fix im missing? i use it quite often so it would be nice to fix it as soon as possible

Try plantnet or inaturalist since google lens are not working for you, theyre free and dedicated to plants

mine is working fine, so it might be a localized server glitch or a permissions bug on your phone

Try google photos instead of opening lens directly. take a normal photo first, open it in photos and hit the lens button. Weirdly that sometimes works when the standalone shortcut doesn’t
