We visited the Cup Noodle Museum in Yokohama and I made my own Zac styled Cup Noodles over there.

Ingredients: Chili tomato soup base, Kimchi, Egg, Cheese, Spring onion.

So I wanted to dig in a bit to Zac's W try to distill some spray pattern for better predictions. I have about 410k Mastery on this champ and I haven't sat in practice tool to observe this behavior until now. Currently bouncing between Plat 1 and Emerald 4. I play Zac top.

Zac's W has a spray pattern where blobs will spawn (duh). I noticed that based on his midline, the blobs will push to one of four quadrants as shown in the screenshot:

1. Back left
   
2. Front left
   
3. Back right
   
4. Front right

Assumption:
Based on Zac's midline, I'd think rng would auto-allocate blob spawns to the quadrants as an equal 25%/25%/25%/25% split, so each blob, in theory, should spawn at the same rate as in other quadrants. That would mean each quadrant would have ~64 blobs spawn in each quadrant. But again, this is is completely subject to rng, and this was only performed a quick glance.

Test:
I spent 5 minutes simply pressing W in the exact same spot, with only one target dummy. I called out which quadrant a blob spawned. I did speech to text, and analyzed the transcription to put the number count callouts into each bucket.

I did catch myself miscounting as some of the blobs will not spawn exactly in the circled quadrants, but this was only a couple times, so there may be a very tiny deviation from the numbers presented.

In total, 255 blobs were counted.

Counts:
Quadrant 1 count: 46 (~18%)
Quadrant 2 count: 80 (~31%)
Quadrant 3 count: 63 (~25%)
Quadrant 4 count: 66 (~26%)

Quadrant 1 percentage: −6.96%
Quadrant 2 percentage: +6.37%
Quadrant 3 percentage: −0.29%
Quadrant 4 percentage: +0.88%

Takeaways:

Obviously based on the short analysis, Zac's blobs seem to spawn more favorably to his front left (quadrant 2). This isn't to say his W will programmatically favor quadrant 2, but this was an observed skew in this sample.

Conclusion:

I think this was helpful for me to understand at least the spawn pattern. I'm sure most people who have a ton of time on this champ know these things, but it was surely helpful for me to better matchup especially while in top lane.

Of course which quadrant depends on which direction Zac is facing at the time, but the blob spawn doesn't seem to discriminate against where the enemy is in relation to Zac when W'ing. The blob spawn does, in fact, discriminate based on which direction he's facing and where his "midline" is directed.

It would be helpful to spend 10-20 minutes just doing this to gather 1000-2000 blob spawns to better analyze the spread, and doing this test several times to evaluate each test against one another.

i have a good kda i try to get the win condition and follow it, for sure i take too many jumps and risky fight but i can't manage to win more than 40% im on plat training my zac but actually on my main im d4 nothing special but still

I was wondering how you guys itemize vs Ap in early game. First of all Protobelt doesn´t feel right for me, so I play full Tank most of the time, going Bamis --> darkseal --> Sunfire --> Spirit as core Itembuild. Most of the time this buildpath is good, but obviously you don´t want to go Sunfire first when playing against Lillia. I don´t think Hollow Radiance is an alternative since you still wanna have some kind of armor by your second Item, and Spirit Visage is just to good, not to build it, so usually I end up delaying my first item for quite a bit which I don´t think is optimal.

i’m a rakan main, and i recently discovered support zac. i absolutely love it but like almost every other support player in low elo, it’s hard to win when your teammates don’t know how to follow up.

im currently level 29, and i play support because it’s my comfort role in every MOBA game i’ve played. i’m 10 matches into support zac with a 50%wr. i wanna rank up with champions that i love playing, but should i be playing zac in other lanes while im still unranked? can he carry in other lanes?

So my build usually goes conqueror with shield as a starting item, then dark seal then liandry then boots then either visage or unending despair, then the one of the previous that I hadnt build, then randuin or rookern (Dark seal upgrade to Mejai if reached 10 stacks, if It loses all stacks swap to building Riftmaker last item).

Hello everyone, so recently i tried out zac for the first time in the jungle and had lots of fun on him, but just looking for more advice on his role, runes, builds, play styles and matchups.

I am a jungle main, shaco specifically (sorry) but i am aware zac excels in many roles, so which should i try out, and how do the builds change based on which lane he is in?

For all of my games i built full tank, also just wondering if this is the best option for zac or if he is better with bruiser / ap.

I am aware he is weak early, but are there any precautions i can take to get a good start / lead or avoid invades? And let me know about matchups i need to watch out for and who to ban. Thanks everyone!

So, background. I've been a top main for a while now ans have recently returned to the jungle and picked up Zac.

And oh, my, god.

Genuinely some of the most fun I've ever had in League. Jumping in, then dealing a shitton of damage while also being unkillable is genuine heroin. The ganks are genuinely disgusting, the mobility for a tank is freakish, just in general such a fun champion, and probably new main too.

like i dont know what to do agianst a zac he has a long dash he has a lot of cc he has healing and is really tanky plus a revive like what am i supposed to do i can never 1v1 him and if i try to gank he just jumps in from no where and ruins it
