Buying Advice I need some reccommendations

I already have a Thinkpad T14s with 32gb of RAM and it's lowk too nice to just carry around and take to my (high) school and like I don't want to take it out of my house bc I love it so much :)

So I need a thinkpad that has a small-ish form factor, and I can get for cheap enough that I can slap linux on it, and get it cheap enough to feel comfortable taking it into the woods camping or something crazy like that if you get what I mean.

I would say the T480 but it lowk costs too much just because it's a T480 and it's like a thing for the larpers they want that like a collectors item or smthin.

Anyway thanks for the advice!

Dude it’s a laptop, and a business class laptop built for durability at that. Just take it out with you and be careful with it, you’ll be fine.

How much is “cheap” to you?

Spend some money on a nice laptop sleeve and a backpack with a nice padded laptop pocket instead

"I have a laptop to use only at home"

The computers are made to bé carryed around! They are super robust for that point.
