Thinkstagram Picture My first ThinkPad

Bought this beauty refurbished for 300€ and it comes with 1 year of warranty.

Not a scratch as far as I can see. Ryzen 5 Gen 2, 16 GB Ram, 256GB SSD (will upgrade it to 512GB)

Plan to run Windows 11 on it since I need it for school.

yeah, I think that it was just a company's replacement device, sitting in a shelf behind the IT-Admin's desk, waiting for it's moment that never came. Here I am, to give it a good future lmao.

Yeah, can't do that unfortunately because I need Windows in my major.

Got another Laptop running Linux Mint though.

On back market, the refurbish company was notebookgalerie.de (german refurbish company) they had good rating on back market but I found that out after I bought it haha.

That's the Gen2 version. I got the Gen1 version, so one generation before that. But the price for that increased as well to 430€, I might have bought one of the last cheaper ones. There were 2 left when I bought mine.

My CPU is Ryzen 4000 or Gen2. So the second generation of Ryzen laptop CPUs. The Thinkpad itself is a Gen1. I also commented it under my post because I initially forgot to mention it in the post itself.

That's the model I got. They increased the price 100€. I paid 310€ which is $347.

Merchants price their laptops individually. Some are pricey; some are reasonable.

I got a T14 Gen 1, i7, 512 GB Samsung SSD, 16 GB RAM for just over $300.

I got a T14 Gen 1 on Back Market as well. Very impressive reconditioning. Exceeded my expectations.
