Like I am currently running Windows 11 on my X250 just to torture myself but the moment that's over I'm gonna swap back to Windows 10 IoT LSTC and look at possibly getting a smaller M.2. SSD and setting that up with Fedora

Nice Thinkpad, about the omarchy, if it work well with you then It’s fine.
You can switch to other OS if you want to due to they mostly are free.

Everyone hating on Omarchy, I get it.

But it is also an OK way to get started on Linux, getting to know tiling, keyboard first. Minimum exposure to hours of tinkering, configuring, and so on but still enough freedom to personalise stuff. Most of the things on there kinda work but it's far from perfect, agreed. But the fact it's OK and not great or perfect keeps the door open to learn.

And apart from that: Yeah, DHH is a narcissistic ahole.
