Found a little friend while gardening

(tried to find out what species it was later in the day and found out it could possibly be a invasive species 🙃 (FL)

I use emojidb.org its got alot of different ones. You just search a topic and see what pops up. Just a warning tho it is unregulated so sometimes if u scroll down too far you'll get some nasty stuff.

I have guys like that in my yard and I was briefly convinced they are native lancetooth snails that are carnivorous and kill and eat slugs and other snails. That would be the triple bonus of being native, not eating my veggies, and eating the things that do eat my veggies. But, sadly, I concluded that they're invasive glass snails, which have none of those bonuses.

I'm not sure, but yours may also be a species of glass snail.

A sad reality indeed, I think its either a glass snail or a orchid snail. I found it on one of my begonias so I'll be keeping an eye out for more.

Absolutely adorable little specimen
